A Scientific Exploration into the World of Phasers
A Scientific Exploration into the World of Phasers

Review:This is another amazing read from the prolific Michio Kaku. He is an inspiration to all aspiring scientists, researchers and explorers! Read at your own peril as you will not view 'impossible' as so impossible after finishing this treaty to human ingenuity and imagination. It may prove to mind expanding for the cynical or pessimistic! Read more

Books a la Carte Edition (4th Edition) - Fundamentals of Statistics
Books a la Carte Edition (4th Edition) - Fundamentals of Statistics

Review:The book is amazing, the people I bought from were not. When the used book arrived from Czars all the pages were coated in a dingy film. The book reeked of an odor I must assume was rat piss. Holding the book to read made me nauseous and ill. After teaching through chapter 1, I finally took it to a graphic arts place and had them photo copy all the pages so that I could throw it away. New Scientific Concepts to Improve Your Thinking (Edge Question Series)

Review:Mostly written by people who ignore science and math. Mostly written by people who can write for hours without citing one quantity or measurement. Social sciences gave us Karl Marx. All b.s.

Chemistry: A Molecular Approach (4th Edition)

Review:I expected it to come damaged or ratty; after all, it is a rented college book. However, it blew expectations completely out of the water. The book was almost completely clean, with nearly no markings inside the book. No water damage, no mold, no ripped or torn pages. Two thumbs up. Read more

Pilgrim at Tinker Creek (Hardback) - Common
Pilgrim at Tinker Creek (Hardback) - Common

Review:I originally read this book, in the tree flesh about 9 years ago and recently purchased this audio book in search of something nostalgic, familiar that soothe my ire to an from work on the 110 Freeway. The recording itself is not bad, the speaker's voice is what you would want to hear nature narrations told in. Although when going through a mid-youth crisis as I am, I found myself having to skip back tracks often, attempting to find the greater meaning that Dillard has so expertly woven in betw... Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Review:Artificial Intelligence is analyzed here with the eye of the science.
Nobody knows exactly how and when this major iteration of life will happen, but everybody should be aware that it is going to happen.
Max Tegmark's work is a great contribution in this direction. Read more
