Review:Joel Salatin is a national treasure who somehow finds time to run Polyface Farm (with the able help of generations of family) and spread the word about our despoiled food sources and what we can do about them. After reading it myself, I gave this book to my brother, as he's recently discovered the value of real and whole foods. Read more
Review:This is surprisingly preachy and religious. I thought it would be about decluttering, but it's chuck full of of Bible quotes and opinions on child rearing. After extremely long-winded and wordy stories about the author's life, there are finally bits and pieces of decluttering information. It's just too difficult listening to all of the preaching. Review:After reading this book, I decided that I am completely ill-equipped to groom my own dogs. It had way more information than I needed and wanted. I live in a remote area and have a hard time finding groomers to "shear" my long-haired dog for the warm summer months.
