Review:Stacy Schiff unwittingly reviews her own book on page 347 when she writes this about Cotton Mather's work defending the indefensible...."THE WORK IS JUMBLED, LUMPY, AND DELIRIOUSLY INCOHERENT!! Couldn't have said it better! I read a lot of non-fiction and this is the worst I've ever read. I guess because she won a Pulitzer for another book, the publisher just said..."throw it together anyway you want. We won't even edit it. It'll be a best seller. Who cares?" Worst is that even with 400+ p... Read more
Review:Probably one of my most favorite books I’ve picked up this year, it was recommended to me by a friend and now it’s part of my daily reading. It’s a great pick me up (I have anxiety so there’s stuff in here that isn’t exhausting but very useful). It’s a very “witchcraft on a shoestring” style of writing for just about anything you need in a pinch. This is honestly useful for everybody needing something to lighten up their day. This is one of the first few books that seemed attractive by its cover... Read more
Review:Which is quite weird otherwise interesting useful book. Do wish they have more specific brand recommendations (objectively) as there are so many products out there and quality/purity is very uncertain with the supplement industry not being regulated at all. Read more
Review:I trust enough has been written about this book's premise by others. I found it well written and compelling if a bit long and repetitive. I would have liked to see this much more condensed, though I understand why the authors would want to add every stick of evidence they could to make their cyclical view of history as convincing as possible. As for its prophecy that the Fourth Turning is coming around soon, the 2016 Presidential election certainly adds strength to the argument. We will know soo... Read more
Review:I bought this book because of the good reviews. I was disappointed. The writer is engrossed in lengthy sublime grammatical language. It was hard to grasp the mission of the book after the first two chapters.I never read so many referenced metaphors in my life. If you're new at the scientific and spiritual comprehension of plant intelligence and can get through the academic jargon and endure this method of writing - you might comprehend some of it. I couldn't help but wonder if the writer was so ... Read more
Review:What determination this man had. So thoughtful at even a very young age. If anything he shows us that even through the worse despair one could not even imagine one can find and make his own light and lift himself up. Amazing life, amazing man. Read more
Review:Very well written, and contains really valuable supplementation information. I have followed the recommendations, and have recommended it to friends and family. The content could be condensed a bit, though. Read more

Review:Do you have competing thoughts in your head like I do? "Who do you think you are, writing amazon book reviews? You are not a writer!" says one of mine. "You have insights to share - go for it!" says another. Colette Baron-Reid's new book, "The Map: Finding Magic and Meaning in the Story of Your Life" can help you sort out these conflicting messages.
At first glance the approach Baron-Reid employs to explain the mysteries of the human mind did not appeal to me. She uses imaginary bein... Read more
Review:Love this book. Have used it several times & the numbers that I look up usually pertain to what's going on in my life at the present time. I have also used it for guidance & I'm shocked how well it works. I really thought I would read it once & than never look at it again. I was wrong Read more
