Review:This was interesting but was not what i expected from the title. I have never read any books by Kidd but she was recommended by serveral people. I think that women who are in an oppressive state in their own faith communities can benefit from this book. It looks at why we allow oppression. Review:I like the idea of waking and reading a different quote to get my day started. However, I found the misspellings in the beginning of the book to be a bit distracting. Also, this book didn't seem to be any different than similar books of this nature and there was a lot of quotes that I had seen before from other sources. The kindle format was fine to view on my phone but I think that the actual paper version would have worked better for me.

Original? Perhaps. What made a difference in my life was the focus on not letting our pain and defenses of the past cloud our present reality and future life. Staying open is very hard! Review:Dean seems to genuinely care. His knowledge, and wisdom, and skill for transferring it to the reader in a personable way is exceptional.
