Review:Really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read as far as historical narratives go and I would recommend it to anyone who likes the "wild, wild, west." The book goes back and forth in explaining the lives of these two men in such a way that it holds one's interest. Read more
Review:My parents have had this book in their library for many years. When I saw a used copy in excellent condition for under $8.00, I was excited to add it to my library. This is a telling book of the outrageous atrocities waged against the Cherokee Natives who had embraced white men's ways and were still sold out. This book stands on its own merit. Read more

Review:While this was written quite a while ago, many of the topics and points are still valid today.
For anyone that may be carrying a concealed weapon to defend themselves, this should be required reading. Read more
Review:It is surprising that a book about which you already know the outcome can still be so intriguing, but Warnings Unheeded is extremely so. The book was well written, highly detailed and extremely thoroughly researched. He brings to life stories that I had read about in the past, but never felt from the victim's point of view. I cannot imagine just how the author was able to organize all the different angles from so many that were affected, but he succeeded in doing so. I hope that the lessons wit... Read more
Review:Historical read about Irish hooligan gangsters in hells kitchen through the ages. It was alright, I ultimately stopped reading about halfway through because I had a more interesting book to read. It's not so much written as first person fiction as almost like a third person historical text. I'm actually not sure what the breakdown of history/fiction is in this book. Read more
Review:Exaustively researched, & excellently written! This book should be mandatory reading. It clearly lays out the real basis of America's Middle East policy; unswerving support for the state of Isreal; &, insistance in "Isreal's right to exist", i.e.: a Crusade to bring about the "second coming of Christ"! Review:This book is phenomenal. I have read many books on ethical poly and open relationships and I could happily throw them all away now and just read this. My only complaint is that I wish they would write another book for monogamous people because the principles they lay out are transformative for anyone no matter what your relationship style. I recommend this book to all my mono friends now but of course many of them are turned off by the emphasis on poly Read more
Review:Great book for anyone looking to find out what makes a man. For the past 30 years mens roles have been downplayed and muddled. This book gives insight as to what manhood truly means. It is a bit of a slow read and its the type of read that allows you to skip around a bit without getting lost of "ruining" the story. I would recommend this for any middle aged man that is feeling "lost" or unsure of what the male relationship should or should not be in our society. Read more
