Review:Another book that shows differences between genders. However, this book actually made some sense for me. A major premise is that men tackle one thing at a time, whereas, women are able to draw connections between various issues. I am not referring to multi-tasking, but rather how men and women view things quite differently. After 35 years of marriage, she still amazes me! Read more

Review:Okay, putting this one down after the first page. The claim here is that the finger was pointed at Oswald 24 hours after the killing after LBJ and J. Edgar Hoover talked about it. I'm here to tell you I was 12 years old and confined to a hospital bed on 11/22/1963. There was a built in radio in the wall. Around 12 noon some woman popped her head in my room and said "They've killed the President!". I turned on the radio and never stopped listening to it until 10:30 that night. The name OSWALD was... Review:Demographer of religion Robert P. Jones has bad news for White Christian America (WCA). Jones quotes E.J. Dionne, who said "white Protestantism served as 'the civic and moral glue that held American public life together' for most of the United States' history."
I'll be up front about this: I... Read more
Review:Nearly everyone has general knowledge of Watergate and of the efforts by reporters Woodward & Bernstein to unravel the cover-up of the Watergate burglary (and their subsequent efforts to uncover and expose a massive White House effort to derail the campaigns of the democratic presidential candidates).
This books is for those who want to go beyond general knowledge. The book also shows what a challenge it was for Woodward & Bernstein to root out information and to separate truth f... Read more
Review:Very informative. Presents the information needed for re-education and learn the facts regarding the African holocaust. All the things that were not taught us in grade school growing up. John Henrik Clark breaks it down with references to support everything written in this book. Some people may not like what they will learn about Christopher Columbus but this information concerning the African slave trade and the European invasion of the "new world" is important not just to African Americans... Review:This books is a heartbreaking insight into the plight of today’s refugees, as seen through the eyes of one Syrian woman. The author is certainly one who is deeply knowledgeable of the crisis at hand: Fleming is the chief spokesperson of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
The book begins where we meet the young woman and hear about how he life went from one like any other, into the hell of a war torn country. In desperation and necessity, her and her fiancés life of flight begins, wi... Read more

Review:Definitely one of the better books out there on statistics, particularly for individuals that might otherwise be intimidated by the subject. Walks through examples of the various tests and figures of statistics using easy to understand examples. Not the typical dry textbook on statistics. Read more
