Review:My disappointment is due to the lack of communication and long delays in the shipment. It's been nearly 2 weeks since I ordered the product and I haven't received an explanation or an acceptable shipment date. Don't order from this company! Read more
Review:Reading The White House Boys was painful. I hate to think that treatment like this happened in America, but I know that sick people gravitate toward the weak and helpless. This was a testament to the memories of this young boy. Read more
Review:This book has been extremely helpful. I have read other books which recommended being more resilient and this book gives a more informative directive on how to achieve resilience. I appreciate the insight into my own behavior which has lead me to
become a victim of covert abuse.

Review:Did Yogananda really write this? Or did someone just take some of his teachings and cobble together this little pamphlet? I have trouble believing that such a wise sage produced this. The book is a collection of VERY short essays on the following topics:
* My Divine Birthright
* The Law of Success
* The Power of Thought
* Will is the Dynamo
* You Can Control Destiny
* Fear Exhausts Life Energy
* Failures Should Arouse Determination
* The Need for Self-Analysis

As a result of doing the course work given in this book and acting on what I was learning about myself I lost a total of 45 pounds! This book is not a diet or exercise boo... Read more
Review:This book gives an excellent reflection on where one is in th midlife years, what to expect, new focuses and goals one discovers for oneself, and new directions to take which are so different from what one did in their 20's, 30's, and 40's. Excellent book. I highly recommend it. Read more
Review:I purchased The Shadow Effect because I saw the movie version on the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) and it was fantastic. The CD can't touch it. I've listened to about 30 minutes of it and have not been moved to listen any more. A waste of money. Although I think Deepak's makes some good points, he puts me to sleep while driving and listening to him. I really enjoy CDs on spiritual growth, but I can't listen to The Shadow Effect long enough to enjoy the concepts. Read more
