Veronika Decide Morir
Veronika Decide Morir

Read more

Ten Days to Self-Esteem
Ten Days to Self-Esteem

Review:Dr. Burns is great, but honestly: if you have his first book, you don't need any other. They are ALL THE SAME. This one is filled with workbook pages, and if you don't want to do the work, you will get nothing out of it. He even writes, over and over: Did you fill out the exercise? Did you really? Go back and complete the page.

I was annoyed to see exactly the same words, ideas, and exercises in this book as in Feeling Good's workbook. I wish I had saved my money. Read more

The Feeling Good Handbook
The Feeling Good Handbook

Review:This one's the real deal! Burns tackles our crazy thoughts that cause our emotions and helps us replace those thoughts with healthy, accurate, rational thoughts. It really isn't your mother-in-law whose making you feel bad about yourself, it's your thoughts about her that are. Believe me, I was amazed when I delved deep into my head and realized what was going on in that jungle!

What you must know about this book, though, is that this is not a 'read it and feel better' exercise. This is a... Read more

The New Way to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks Fast
The New Way to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks Fast

Review:I have had anxiety and panic attacks for 20 years. They have gotten better over the years, with the eception of driving. I am absolutel terrified. I have done acupuncture, which has helped somewhat, but the fear is still there and I always rationalize its ok not to drive. I donated money to DARE and received a copy of Barry's book. Since then I have downloaded everything I can that applies to the book. I also have had two fiends buy it and just bought 2 more for 2 more friends. This is by far the... Read more

Ordinary Life and the Woman Who Changed It Forever
Ordinary Life and the Woman Who Changed It Forever

Review:This story is heartbreakingly beautiful. It is told in the most honest and open manner. Rory opens his heart and soul to us glossing over nothing. One can not read this story and not feel his pain and share in their triumph and their tragedy. Joey + Rory's story is not finished, this is only the end of the beginning. Their faith in God and their love and commitment to one and other is moving and truly inspirational. This is not lighthearted reading but it will touch your heart and possibly chan... Read more

7 Cures for the Punctually Challenged - Never Be Late Again
7 Cures for the Punctually Challenged - Never Be Late Again

Review:Had I not decided to become a professional organizer (not a time management expert!) I would have never stumbled upon this amazing book. 7 years later, I am still doing awesome at being on time. I learned more about the root or psychology of being late. I applied the techniques Diana teaches in this book. They freaking work!!!!

I share this book with my organizing clients if they even mention the word "late for everything" to me. Tonight I wrote an article for my readers that touts t... Read more
