Review:This book is worth the price only for the chapters dealing with the history of Marxist strategy in America, where Bretibart shows the connections and evolution from a hard line Leninist violent takeover of society to a soft cultural Marxist revolution that we see today, going through Antonio Gramsci and the School of Frankfurt. The fact that these concepts have been disclosed to the mass public is a great achievement for Breitbart. Americans have this strange notion that "this can't happen here... Read more
Review:Reaching goals and obtaining them when you get there can be very hard. It is one thing to say you're going to accomplish your dreams, but to do it is another thing also. Gregory had used hard times in his life growing up, as willpower in acheiving his goal as a lawyer. I felt that it goes to show that you don't have to let hard times stop you from reaching your dreams. From reading and getting a better understanding of the book I've learned the value of hard work and dedication. Gregory ... Read more
Review:Every experience I've ever had with Ms. Angelou's work has proven to be captivating, entertaining and above all heart-warming. This book follows her pattern of taking her fascinating real life, and explaining it as though we were sitting chatting over coffee. Although we've never met in person, I feel as though through her stories, we've lived a lifetime of memories together.
Again, I couldn't put this book down until I'd read it from cover to cover. The recipies not only are easy to f... Read more
Review:This is an incredible book about a woman who gets hit on the head by a ceiling fan that falls onto her. There are a lot of things that are hard to believe when you read this book. For one, it is extremely disappointing that she gets very little support or therapy for all the physical challenges she faces. How can the so-called experts and doctors expect her to learn things - on her own ? ? ? It is a sad state of affairs that doctors more or less left her to fend for herself ! She was only in t... Review:Larry McDonald writes a book about the Lehman collapse that is entertaining and humorous, which is amazing considering he is writing about fairly complicated financial matters. I know many of the people he writes about, and he truly catches their essences well. Patrcik Robinson has done it again. I enjoyed Lone Survivor, but this book is even better. I am glad that I added it to my summer reading list! Read more
Review:The writer's jourrney in becoming a chef gives a revealing look into kitchens where our food is prepared and the pain of a young person finding the way into the world of the professional kitchen. A good read. Read more
Review:I ripped through this book, which moved with the speed and drama of a movie script. Great writing and the characters are all real and somewhat familiar. What I leaned and should have expected, is that when it comes to the founding of any company, it’s often not only complicated but messy too.To think that all of this emanated from just a hundred and forty characters. Who knew? Read more
Review:Excellent and well-written non-fiction book. I learned enough facts, (that I already suspected) to not EVER vote for this person. She only cares for the people to get the vote to be President. Once voted in office, then it's all about her. She has the love for power that is unprecedented in American history. The author backs up everything he writes with interviews and publications, so the reader can be certain they are reading a factual account. I have just read his latest book; "The Amateur: O... Review:Richard Dawkins is one of my personal heros. His understanding of science is outstanding, his ability to explain it is remarkable, and his ability, to make sense of complex and subtle topics puts him at the top of the list of science writers. He also can tell a good story in a down to earth way. It was fascinating to hear how he came to this point in "An Appetite for Wonder". Read more
