Review:As soon as I started reading the Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict I couldn't put it down. It's one of those books that is so wonderful that you must keep reading. I read it after reading The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Perilous Journey, and the Prisoner's Dilemma. I would keep noticing things like, "Oh, that's why he likes green plaid!"
The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict was a wonderful, exciting read, and I highly recommend it. Read more

Review:My second read in the Origins of Elements series and I was entranced with Georgie story.
The relationship between Georgie and her mother had been mentioned in Born of Water but reading it from the girl point of view gave it a new impact. After that it was nice to meet Faith and I started to wonder how the adopted cousin of Georgie would be like.
I was not anticipating that Jasher had more than one secrets. I liked that the town would turn out to be like a big puzzle where hints would be hi... Read more
Review:Everything you would expect from Jeremy of Cinema Sins. Reading (DING) Somethings where so well thought out and prepared for that it was obvious someone who finds errors in storytelling was writing. The characters are awesome and the story very original. Read the whole thing in about twelve hours and plan for many repeat readings. Well done Jeremy, no sins here. Read more
Review:This is the third book in the Magisterium series which is planned to have five books in it. This was an excellent continuation of the Magisterium series, I really enjoyed this book a lot. This has been a well done middle grade fantasy series which both me and my 9 year old son enjoy.
We see a lot more of Call and Aaron wielding their Makar talents in this book and learn a lot more about Chaos magic. Call isn’t questioning his evilness quite as much but is still struggling with the idea... Read more
Review:I had been hoping for a more developed story line and characters to match the excellent sleeve description and cover art. What i found out about this book is that i couldnt get into it and it left me with more questions than answers for a stand alone book. I was not at all impressed with the character development, or lack thereof, and i was honestly disappointed in how it as supposed to be spooky but the supernatural elements of the story are muddled and changed into subjective interpersonal mus... Review:We have still not read the Mercy Watson books but we do plan to read them. We checked this book out of the library after enjoying Where Are You Going, Baby Lincoln?: Tales from Deckawoo Drive, Volume Three. This book featuring Leroy Ninker was a fun book as well. We particularly loved the parts from Maybelline's perspective. When she was lost, she thought that more than anything she wanted to "hear the little man's voice." So sweet! Maybelline is definitely a words of affirmation kind of girl!
