Review:A pretty good cozy mystery among the country club set. Ellison is married to the philandering husband. Then she begins to find one body after another. Why doesn't she tell the handsome detective what she suspects? Makes sense at first, but after a third person dies and her home is burglarized, I was just a tiny bit irritated with her. She didn't see the clues that were dropping all around her. Read more
Review:The plot was somewhat predictable yet still enjoyable and entertaining. I loved the descriptions of sensory experiences, especially the food. I was invested in the characters' lives and felt immersed in Indian culture. Read more
Review:I did not grow up in Milwaukee but have lived most of my adult live near Milwaukee. I loved the humor and the characters. It is really refreshing to see things through the eyes of a ten year old. I look forward to reading more books by Lesley Kagen. Read more
Review:I started this book with a lot of interest and anticipation because I usually love books that deal with other cultures. The story premise was good, but the author belabored the story with way too much poetic description. I got tired of reading about the environment, humidity and light and wished to just end the story. I skimmed a lot just to see how she would finish what could've been a better book. Read more
Review:Alcoholism, finding your birth mom, internet porn addiction, breast cancer, lesbianism - this was like a marathon of Lifetime movies!
It goes without saying that many things will happen over a 40-year friendship, but it was just too much of a stretch to believe that every one of these women would undergo their own 'trendy' topic.

Review:R.R. Banks killed the game with this one and I can't wait to see where he goes next..regardless, I know I'm going along for the ride! Caylee is a beautiful woman with an indomitable spirit and so much courage and Eric is a veteran and a doctor who finds her in her greatest time of need. This book deals with what it's like to be an unwilling part of a cult and all that that entails. But it's so much more than that. It's a book about love, trust and overcoming whatever obstacles life has placed in... Read more
