Fast Track

Review:Both characters have been in multiple stories and have connections over several books. Cordy has been crushing on Aiden since the Murder List. Aiden has been in and out of several books since talking poker games with the hero's. It was worth the wait. Read more

Review:I really liked that Allison was so very intelligent, and so far and above her male counterparts in computers. She was very brave at times and was a strong woman. Review:I've been a fan of these books and this author for years. I don't think I could ever be disappointed by anything she wrote. I love Eve and Roarke as much as I love my dearest friend. I'm happy to go along on their journey... wherever it might take them. Read more

Review:With all of Julie's wonderful books I believe this is the best one yet!
She has tied the characters and events in such a manner that you feel that you are there living with them, and becoming part of the story. Read more

Smart Women
Smart Women

Review:I thought I would dive into this vintage find; as I am fond of Judy Blume’s writing. I found the read rather choppy and, difficult to get into the story. Smart Women is based on three divorced 40 something women and, their relationships with their immediate families set in the early 1980’s. I was irritated at the characters because I kept contemplating their behavior to the title of the book. I was disappointed in the read. Read more

Alternate Side: A Novel
Alternate Side: A Novel

Review:I have enjoyed Anna Quindlen's non-fiction, and I thought I might find her novel about life in Manhattan to be infused with the humor and perceptiveness so evident in her essays. Alas, this book was a tedious read, and I finished it only because I kept hoping it would get better. I found the characters to be superficial and the plot almost non-existent. I felt like I was reading the journal of a boring woman who shared way too much detail about little things that no one other than the protagonis... Read more

The Perfect Mother: A Novel
The Perfect Mother: A Novel

Review:I enjoyed reading this book especially the surprise ending. It took me a few chapters to get into the flow of the book but that is not unusual for me. I just found it to be rather slow at the beginning. Read more

Every Time We Fall In Love (The Sullivans)
Every Time We Fall In Love (The Sullivans)

Review:From the hardest goodbye to the sweetest hello, Harry and Molly get under the skin and make their way into your soul. Every Time We Fall in Love is at the mercy of time and the hands of fate. Andre spins a tale of love lost and hope revisited with characters that are as real as they are flawed. The first time around family got in the way. Ironic that the circumstances that broke them apart could be the catalyst that gives them a new beginning. I'm swept away every time I read a Bella Andre novel... Read more

Something to Remember: Prequel to Forget Me Not
Something to Remember: Prequel to Forget Me Not

Review:I will not restate the plot nor reveal any spoilers in this review.
Usually a prequel gives you an idea of whether the following book is of interest. In this case, Something To Remember (a prequel to Forget Me Not) is not a book to my taste. It is classified as a dark romance but its subject matter is too dark for me. Without giving away any spoilers, Something To Remember is a lead-in and, therefore, is not a stand-alone book. Unless you enjoy a dark romance and have intentions to read Forge... Read more
