Review:This book was funny and light-hearted though often poignant. The characters were likable and relatable in that I've known many people over the years who had a little of Elner's niece Norma, or her neighbor Tot Whooten, or friend Luther Griggs, in them. Just a sweet story and fun read that made me smile - a lot! Read more
Review:Also a lovely book. sad at times, amusing at others. Written with a sense of how the gentle side of human nature
behaves. Also looks at some of the crazy co-incidences of life.

I really loved it and read it after reading "Lost for words" by Stephanie Butlar. some of the little stories are quite surprising, some very amusing.

Review:I enjoyed this book throughout. As usual good character development and good plot development. The protagonists, Reverend Ferguson and officer Russ make a good and interesting pair of sleuths. I look forward to my next book in this series. Read more
Review:I fell in love with Taylor Jenkins Reid's writing the first time I read her debut novel, Forever, Interrupted, and have since read every book she's written as soon as I can get my hands on them. Needless to say, I had her newest, One True Loves, pre-ordered and dove right in as soon as it was delivered. I was once again absolutely delighted with the complex, emotional story she presented, one that had me not only eager to see how the characters would react to the impossible-seeming situation but... Whiplash means moving suddenly and forcefully. That is what happens when Junior Morgan meets Eliza Pierce the first time. She is beautiful. But she is more than a match for him.
A story of two people, attracted to each other but Eliza or Ellie as Junior calls her, not wanting to be another notch on the bed head. Forbidden to see each other, they laugh together, banter is just brilliant and the sex , after Ellie make... Read more
Review:❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This book was amazing!! But fair warning, having a box of tissues next to you because it definitely pulls on those heartstrings-HARD. And I’m not one to cry...
I absolutely loved everything about this story. Especially being set in Alaska, someplace that I’ve been and can’t wait to go back to.
The characters were so easy to fall in love with, especially Bella. But more than that, the storyline itself made it pretty much impossible to put the book down.

Review:Really enjoyed this book, I have never read a book where the author includes the reader. He explains things that may have happened in earlier books in the series, that was helpful since this was the first book I have read. Lots of action, twisted ending, never saw coming. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review." Read more
Review:THIS WAS AN INCREDIBLE BOOK. So many things going on among each of the characters, but still easy to follow and they're all intertwined. Such a page turner, I finished this book in less than 3 days. Kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next and it was not predictable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Read more
Review:Kristin Hannah writes a novel that makes you care for the people, and the joys and sorrows that are part of their lives.
A love story of loss and redemption, this book is full of surprises, as unexpected events change every person involved.
I stayed up very late to finish it, then couldn't go to sleep because there was so much to think about.
