Review:I wanted to love The Family Next Door since I really enjoyed Sally Hepworth’s last novel, The Things We Keep. This book is about the secrets kept by four women neighbors in Australia. Fran, Ange, and Essie have never been close, but when Isabelle moves into the neighborhood – a single woman without a family – their paths begin to cross a bit more, and their secrets begin to unravel.
This book is told in alternating chapters between all four characters. I love that writing style, and it wo... Read more
Review:I chose to give this book a 2 star rating because I was very disappointed by the ending. The book itself was decent but I felt like there was no closure whatsoever. The whole point of reading a book is for the amazing wrap-up, and you don't get that in this novel. Read more
Review:I must start by saying that I love horror stories. One of my favorite genres, so I was expecting to like this book considerably. But I didn't, and I'm trying to figure out why. Perhaps it is too realistic. Meaning, horror usually has an element of the improbable, but this story seems like it could happen anytime, anywhere. Review:I started reading this book based on the reviews. Once I started reading I realized.. It's not for adults.. it's for young teens and it did not like the cliches, and the "whatever" attitudes.. I finished reading it hoping it would leave me hanging. and it did. Not because it was "OMG GOOD!" but because it was almost like a trainwreck that I couldn't look away from. *cries* Read more
Review:OMFG!!!! This book is so good!!!!! My favorite part is when the ending turns out to be a dream and Edwin is a human not a vampire. My other favorite part is when the wolves told the boy to tell Jezbell that they caught her skinny-dipping and that they'll be watching her. 5 stars baby!!! Read more

Review:This one had me worried for a while that Nick was going back to a life of crime and leave Kate in the dust but I was proven wrong. The group is back at it again!!! Great follow up to the series especially since we were left with a cliff hanger on the third book this fourth installment clears up any issues that were left hanging and gives you good insight on where our favorite couple stands with each other. For those of you that, like me, can't wait to hear about this forbidden romance well get r... Read more
