Review:I love every Janet Evanovich's books that I have read so far, which are many, including this one. Sometimes they are laugh out loud funny. I miss the characters when I'm finished reading, but there are so many more I can become acquainted with. Thank you Ms. Evanovich. Read more
Review:I had a really hard time getting into this book, or warming up to it once I did. I wanted to like this book, but I just couldn't. I stayed with the story to the end, hoping that Bev would have this big triumph moment. She did in a way I guess, but not the way I'd hoped. This is advertised as a Romance/ Comedy, but I didn't find anything funny about the way everyone treated Bev.
IMO- It was so disrepectful, if anything. Plus...I hated the relationship between Bev and Liam, it just didn't s... Read more
Review:Why do these entertain me so? I feel stupid, but at least I am not alone. They are funny but oh so ridiculous. Ranger asks Stephanie to plant a bug in Dickie's office. As she is wont to do when encountering her ex husband she threatens to kill him in front of witnesses when she sees that Joyce's photo is on his desk. After strangling him and walking out with a desk clock that had been a wedding gift from her side, she has done as Ranger asked. Oops Dickie goes missing the next day and she ... Read more
Review:Not only did my product come in great condition, it was also just a great product! Janet Evanovich never lets me down, Stephanie Plum is always raring to go and giving the reader a good time. Love It!!! Read more
Review:The gags are becoming more overused and the plots less engaging as we read more and more and more and more. Stephanie needs to learn some new wisecracks and her characters need some new idiosyncrasies if she is to survive. Read more
Review:Evanovich almost has her touch back. Certainly "One for the Money" is the best of this series by far, and the series has taken a decided downturn, with "Ten" being just awful in that Stephanie turned into a, well, something that Amazon probably won't allow me to say. I actually disliked her. Poor Ranger and Morelli!
Now Stephanie's back in fine form. Though the romantic subplot is STILL on hold (will things never change? What's the reason for this? Unchanging conditions = boring), hints a... Read more
Review:I just finished the first book and have now started my second one and I truly enjoy the character of Stephanie Plum, she is my kind of girl. I love the freshness of her character and the whole adventure of being a bounty hunter and the people she comes in contact with. I look forward to seeing where her relationship with Joe Morelli goes. Review:I order a lot from Amazon.com and have not had any issues in the past. However; I just started reading this book and got to page 168, then it skips to page 193. Pages 169 through 192 are not in the book! And now I have passed my "window of opportunity" to return it. Read more
Review:I was looking forward to romance but Janet Evanovich forgot that the best part of the story is always Stephanie with Morelli here and Ranger there. Lula and Grandma are entertaining, their antics funny, but Lula becoming a major character is less interesting. Stephanie doesn't follow her better instincts and makes the same mistakes over and over with fewer rescues by Morellli and Ranger. Disappointing --I would have liked more book for my money. Read more
Review:I adore Stephanie Plum, the feisty, sassy, suma cum laud bond enforcement agent, (bounty hunter), from Trenton, NJ - the bane of every psycho criminal in the Garden State, and destroyer of at least 10 cars. I love Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's maternal grandmother, and a pistol-packin,' roller blading clotheshorse. The super sexy men in Steph's life, hot cop, live-in lover Joe Morelli, and "The Ranger," who is beyond description in a simple book review, are the best - as are all the other wacky ecc...
