Review:So I just finished up One Second After and Going Home. Love EMP books. Was looking for something new. This falls very short of those series. The writing itself is much weaker and the story line is not well thought out. Invading middle eastern troops blowing us up and spraying round up on all of our crops. 30 year old gamer that has a bunker that stretches 100 yards underground in PA. List of hard to believes keep going on. The other two series made me cringe with the possible reality.

Review:Nothing too over the top with the main character, he's actually more realistic than a lot of main characters in similar books. The whole plot is relatable and believable. The characters are interesting and entertaining. I enjoyed this book and will be checking out more. Thanks Read more
Review:I love this trilogy. The writing is definitely tacky and preachy in spots concerning American ideals and exceptionalism, but overall, the plot was gripping and I finished the book in only a day or two. Read more
Review:Mr. Goodwin has done an excellent job with this entire series, one of his earlier works! He weaves a gripping story of a typical American family, mixing the prophetic and practical prepping. In short, this series has everything to keep one's interest and make someone think of how things could actually play out. His scenario is entirely plausible, and his character development is fabulous! Goodwin is a fun author to read! You won't be disappointed! Read more
Review:Pretty good. Almost a 5 but for the excessive, useless and nasty horseplay and language.
A little bit of that goes a long way. I don't have a problem with some grab-ass if it serves a purpose
but in this case it isn't germane to the story and doesn't move the narrative along.
Also the narrative seems a bit short.
And why move to a larger physical format? Just adds a lot of blank paper on each page

Review:"Infection:A Pandemic Survival Novel" was a fantastic book to read !! The characters are truly believable "real" people, with thoughts and emotions that fit within the extraordinary story line. I enjoyed it tremendously, and am seriously looking forward to the next book in this series, "Isolation," due out in 2017. Read more
Review:Where to begin with this one, I'm not sure. I've had this book for sometime and just let it sit there among my TBR shelf.... well I finally took the plunge and OMG!! Yeah this is one that will keep you on the emotional roller coaster the whole time, yep these characters become real and you really have to keep reading in angst to find out what's next! Then when you find out what's next your saying, wait did that really happen and oh no that didn't happen!!! When I finally got to the last few p... Read more
Review:I loved one second after and was eager to read this book. This was before I realized it was a paid commercial by NASA....actually sponsored by NASA. Made a great concept take silly turns to make NASA the hero. Read more

Review:Very well written. It has all my requirements, romance, mystery, humor, action, suspense and most importantly, a happy ending. Am waiting impatiently for Ms. Dare's next book, in the meantime, I will get caught up with her prior novels. So glad to have found another romance novelist to add to my list. Read more
