Review:What more can I say except that I loved this book. As much as I wanted to slap her, it was great fun reading about Marilla's antics. She brought back to mind the '80s song 'Maneater' by Hall & Oates. That said, she did get her man in the end...good for her! At least I hope it'll be good for her!
I enjoyed reading the interaction of all the characters. Though each story is short, each one shines with the talent of the individual authors. I hope there are plans for a 3rd novel in ... Read more
Review:As always, Julia Quinn writes a masterful story full of wonderful characters and interesting action. I love that she weaves previous characters into current storylines and look forward to each and every book she writes. My only complaint is that I finish the books too fast and must wait for the next one to be published! Read more
Review:The Story is about Gregory, the 8th child of the Bridgerton Family.
It's a very nice romantic story, just like all the other Bridgerton series.
But to understand the whole thing better i think it's better to read the series starting The Dule & I. Read more
Review:For the most part, the book was cute and a nice quick read, but a huge let down in the end. I was really disappointed by how long it took to get to the interesting parts of the story. Things were long, drawn out, and it took forever, about 300+ pages, to get to the climax. The conclusion was wrapped up so quickly and left so many unanswered questions. I understand the whole thing about leaving people wanting more (so they can read the next book) but geez can I get a real conclusion, where most ... Read more
Review:I am a real Big Julia Quinn Fan but this book did not have the same humor and spunk that her other books have had. I gave her 4 stars because I still think she is a wonderful author and wish she could write faster for I enjoy her books so much and hate the wait for the next one. Read more
Review:Read this for the second time as I came across it recently in some discussion forum on amazon. Go away with your one or two star reviews.... this was a great book - will start the next one now methinks! Read more
Review:Probably a great many people will disagree with me when I say that prior to this book my favorite in the Bridgerton series was Viscount Who Loved Me. I don't think a great many will disagree with me when I say that Romancing Mr. Bridgerton has replaced Viscount as my favorite Julia Quinn novel and therfore my favorite romance novel, period. The dialouge between Penelope and Colin was even more snicker inducing than Viscount and this book had the added advantage of a slight mystery (Lady Whistl... Read more
Review:This is my second Julia Quinn novel and turned out to be both a page turner and a shelf keeper.
The heroine is a woman who will do anything to keep her orphaned siblings together...including being a lady's companion for a picky and tiresome (but spunky) old woman. Reduced to the need to marry someone for his money, she resigns herself to her fate...enter the hero (our marquis) from stage left.
James is yet another one of those retired war spies that populate Regency romances (along wit... Read more

Review:part two... after part one....oh, yes.... keep these characters coming.....I'm waiting. Thank goodness for KINDLE apps .... IPad and Samsung 4s phone..... I can take these books anywhere with me. RAIN OR SHINE.... I NEVER dreamed I could actually give up my paperback book experiences. I just loved holding a good book and reading until the early hours of the night. BUT, life doesn't always help us! Soon I was staging my reading time during the day with the sun at my back and going to bed angry be... Read more
