The Chronicles of St. Mary's Book Four - A Trail Through Time
The Chronicles of St. Mary's Book Four - A Trail Through Time

Review:I really enjoy the St Mary's time travel books. This is a very clever vehicle for a rollicking adventure novel. It is also a plot line that allows those of us who enjoy history to get a different viewpoint of famous events. Jodi Taylor's St Mary's series is great fun! Read more

Falling for the Highlander: Highland Brides
Falling for the Highlander: Highland Brides

Review:The romance between Murine and Dougall is quite exciting. Murine, who is always fainting, turns out to be quite the heroine. She is one of the group of for best friends: Joan, Saihd, Edith, and Murine. In Joan's story, Murine ended up saving Joan and Saihd. In this book, she saved Dougall, his six brothers, and their uncle.
This book has a lot of twists and turns which makes the plot very exciting. Dougall falls madly in love with Murine and is overprotective. Is funny to see how all his brot... Read more

To Marry a Scottish Laird
To Marry a Scottish Laird

Review:An engaging and romantic read.... To Marry a Scottish Laird was a fantastic historical romance. I found myself hooked right from the first page and it kept my interest all the way through. Some nice twists and turns to the story that kept me guessing too. I loved the chemistry and steamy heat between the two main characters as well as how endearing they were. I especially enjoy Lynsay Sands hunky heroes and strong yet quirky heroines. Lynsay is such a talented writer. I have read many of her boo... Read more

The Highlander Takes a Bride: Highland Brides
The Highlander Takes a Bride: Highland Brides

Review:OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, Lynsay Sands has out done herself this time. I have read almost all of her books and I love her books dearly but this book was amazing! I loved Saidh in Cam and Joan's books but to see her character more developed and the sparks that pass through her and Greer from the moment he lays eyes on her flies off the pages! I read this book, turned it over and reread it and though it came out only a few days ago I have read it 4 times already and debating if I should read it a 5th t... Read more

Always
Always

Review:I read this story a few years ago, then stuck it on my home library shelf and forgot all about it. I found it on my shelf and decided to reread it so I could give it a star rating and short review in my library directory. (I use the directory to keep from re-buying books I already own, and to help me remember which authors I'd like to read more books from.) I now know why absolutely none of this story was memorable. It is basically a circle of unexciting events repeating themselves.

The Switch
The Switch

Review:In my research to discover which books are considered the best of the best, using the star rating system reviews written by the wonderful readers of the world on Amazon, I came across this book "The Switch", by Lynsay Sands. This book appealed to my tastes and after many months of attempting to track it down, in person (because the hunt is the fun part!), I finely found my quarry in a used book store. Wow, was it a shock to finely find it! It was very hard to find because it's one of those belov... Read more

Highland Brides (The Highland Brides) - An English Bride in Scotland
Highland Brides (The Highland Brides) - An English Bride in Scotland

Review:This was a pretty easy, light read as far as I'm concerned. Definitely not heavy, epic romance. Just a fun, easy read. It reminded me a lot of the Julie Garwood books I inhaled back in my young adult years. Sometimes very amusing or funny, sometimes somewhat suspenseful, An English Bride in Scotland was a pleasant enough read for me. But not one I'd absolutely recommend as a bookshelf favorite. In the end, I could take it or leave it.

After very nearly taking her vows to become a nun, Ann... Read more

Sweet Revenge
Sweet Revenge

Review:Very disappointing story. Basically the female lead is just plain stupid. I like sass and spunk, hate to be confined but sheer stupidity over and over and over and over (repeat 10 times) is just plain disgusting. Not recommended even though I like this author in general. Read more
