Review:I read materials on financial literacy and I found this book to be one of the BEST! It is well written and super focused on BUDGETING --- complete and comprehensive... no fluff ... no filler... IT is also very well complemented with How To INCREASE One's Earnings. Everyone should have this in his/her finance library .... every student, parent, financial coach and everyone. Anyone who follows the road_map in the book will unshackle himself/herself from the Paycheck to Paycheck trap. This book is ... Read more
Review:I love this book! I taught me everything I needed to do well in the exam. It has a lot of examples, advice for exam day, and lists of where to find the examples in the actual prep tests. The new version has a lot of new pages and is just as good as the other bibles. Read more

Review:A cute and inexpensive graduation gift for high school graduates. I just flipped through it and read the reviews ~ I didn't read the whole book. It has a lot of pertinent topics for college kids (i.e., managing money, drinking, roommates, etc.). For the grads that we knew very well, we put a check inside, for kids that were not close friends, it was good to have something inexpensive to give as a gift. I would recommend it. Read more
Review:A very useful book for the basic information needed. It condenses the material to a manageable level. The only complaint I have is the amount of material covered. I would have liked to have seen more. Read more

I read through the book, which is geared more towards parents and students approaching college years. The book does point out some strategies and tactics, but large portions of the book provide step by step instructions for filling out tax and college financial ... Read more
Review:After borrowing the 2009 version from the library, I purchased this 2012 edition. I am impressed with the book's emphasis on planning ahead. My first takeaway from the book was learning about the first base income year which starts when the child is midway through their junior year of high school. Second was learning how to improve the chances of gettin... Read more
