Review:This book brings back Clara Rinker and closes loose ends from a previous book. I loved it and was kind of sorry for Clara. John Standford did it again, great book with real suspense and what is going to happen next questions to be answered. Read more
Review:"Bad Monkeys" is one of my favorite recent books. The plot, an agent of the Bad Monkeys, a squad dedicated to stopping people from doing evil, tells her wild tale of how she came to be in a jail cell. The protagonist is not the most reliable narrator, and it's fun trying to pick out what is or isn't true. I see that several people complain about the ending. Personally, I loved the ending, as things going completely off the rails, and the final twist is a doozy. It's a short book and a quick, fun... Read more
Review:I won't take your time providing a description of Peter Pan Must Die, as you can get this from the Book Description above. Rather, my review is to inform you of my opinion of the book, which, hopefully, will be of value in deciding if this book is one you'll want to read.
While Peter Pan Must Die has some interesting "page turning" moments and its share of murders, these, unfortunately, do not occur until well into the second half of this 448 page book. By this point, my interest had bee... Read more
Review:The Stone books keep getting weaker. Now Woods is using coauthors for off shoot character books. I found this effort to be very poor and had to struggle to finish it. Writing style even weaker than Woods. Plus doesnt match well with main books. Read more
Review:Woods writes yet another page turning, edge of you seat novel. His writing his witty, fun, entertaining with just hints of romance and mystery. You can never go wrong picking up a Stone Barrington book. Read more
Review:Great reading as always. Mr Woods reinvented himself in the person of a different Stuart Woods. His writing style is close to the former Stuart Woods but with less sexuality than the last several books. But the twists and turns and thought provoking conditions are reminiscent of the mind and thus the writing from the much, much earlier works. Pleased to see the refinement of plot returning. In my opinion Mr Woods cannot do much wrong in a book. I believe I have read them all. Yet his last sever... Read more

Review:Amazing book! I bought this book about 3 months ago and it has been hanging out on my kindle. I dont know why it took me so long to read it, but once i started i couldnt stop. I immediately purchased the rest of the books in the series and am currently on the last one. I wish the author would write more spin offs for other characters because i just want to keep living in this world she has created. Beautifully written, captivating story, and I loved it! Read more
Review:Shadow Dance is my favorite of Julie Garwood's books so far. Some of the dialogue made me laugh out loud. Jordan and Noah are great characters - great chemistry together. I especially like Noah's seemingly uncomplicated take on life. It's a fun book to read with an interesting and humorous plot. It's the characters that really make it though. Read more
Review:As always I'm never disappointed with a Julie Garwoods book. This series is one of my favorites. I wish the Buchanan family was larger so the series could continue. Ms Garwoods stories always have humor as well as drama, which I feel are a great combo. Read more
