Review:Lisa Gardner is one of my very favorite authors. I love everything she writes. This is one of her best books. I ordered this be accident because I already have all her books so far, but I was glad because I gave it to my daughter and she loved it too. Read more
Review:This book could have been written with half of the pages. She kept going over the same descriptions plus enuf about the baby. A little over done in my opinion. The story line was okay but would have liked a shorter version. Read more
Review:This is a fantastic story! I was recently turned on to Lisa Gardner and, before I even finished reading this book, I ordered 7 more so I wouldn't be "without" for very long! Her character development is simply wonderful - I feel as if I know them. And the story and suspense - wow! I am hooked on Lisa! Read more
Review:This is yet ANOTHER page turner for Lisa Gardner! LOVED every minute of it.
Some passages were a bit more disturbing than normal, but you kept going!
Thank you Lisa...HURRY and get some more books out there, I'm at the end of
the line...... Read more
Review:Lisa Gardner novels are always a thriller. Entertaining page-turners with good character development. The Quincy/Rainie books are thorough enough in their own right to be read one at a time but reading them in order will show the progression of their relationship via their assignments. Read more
Review:Having read some of Lisa Gardner's other books on FBI Profilers/Agents and enjoyed them, it was a "no-brainer" to give this one a try, and I'm glad I did. This thriller/chiller was enthralling and drew me along quickly. I caught myself thinking a couple of times that I had figured out the killer, but, surprise, I was wrong! :) I now plan to read the prior books: "Alone", "The Neighbor", and newest book: "Live to Tell" in this D.D. Warren series.
Thanks for reading this review. Read more
Review:Lisa Gardner never disappoints! Her characters are very real, the story well researched and her writing nuanced and engaging. I look forward to the release of each of her books. I'd love to see more FBI Profiler books, especially about Kimberly! Read more
Review:Glad I bought this book on sale. It was entertaining but not realistic. Caught myself wondering if the authors even took the time to consult with the FBI or police regarding procedures. If you want to be entertained, this book is OK. If you want suspense skip this book. Read more
Review:I am always looking for the next book - hopefully one as good as the current read. This one is better! A can't put it down kind that kept me hanging the entire time! It should be on the top of your list! Read more
Review:This Modern Library edition is gorgeously printed and well-annotated with invaluable critical notes that will make the work vastly more accessible to the average person while providing useful background to others. I would have preferred it to have included Paradise Regained, however, as I think it's an important companion to the work. Those with more of an interest in literary criticism or who wish to more vigorously digest and dissect the poem would be advised to steer themselves towards the No... Read more
