Crooked House
Crooked House

Review:This mystery has to be one of, if not the best book Agatha Christie has ever written. Keeps you guessing to the end, which turns out to be incredibly surprising. If you like mysteries, this is a book you'll want to read! Thoroughly enjoyable!! Read more

Host (A Medical Thriller)
Host (A Medical Thriller)

Review:I felt like so much of this book copied the story line of COMA - Once I got through the first half it improved somewhat - It was quite predictable - The ending left it open for a continuation which is ok but I hope the continuation is not a further copy of previous books. I usually LOVE Robin Cook's stories - I truly look forward to each release but I think this is the first time that I have been disappointed in a book from this author. Read more

London Bridges (Alex Cross)
London Bridges (Alex Cross)

Review:This was my first Patterson book so I can't compare it to his other books. After reading some of the reviews here my expectations were low, and while the book wasn't great it wasn't awful either. The plot seems to be taken from a James Bond movie and while it's not very fresh or inspired, the plot moves quickly and the pace only slows down in the parts dealing with Alex Cross's private lives. These sequences didn't add anything to the plot. Perhaps they are relevant to some larger story arc thro... Read more

What Happened at the Lake

Review:I thought I had this book figured out pretty quickly, but realized I was a little off. Good writing, although too many details at times does make for some 2nd and 3rd readbacks. Overall, well written and a good read. Read more

Deceptions (The Cainsville Series)
Deceptions (The Cainsville Series)

Review:Kelley Armstrong is one amazing writer!! Her Cainsville series only continues to prove that by getting better and better with each and every book! It's definitely way different from her Otherworld series, as I've said in past reviews, but it's still a marvelous and enthralling tale just the same!

Deceptions is the third book in the series, and unlike her Otherworld series, you have to read this series in order from the beginning or else you're going to miss so much! It's like missing an e... Read more

Review:This book is about the Great Gold robbery of 1855. In 1854 a man named Edward Pierce who is a master thief hatches a plan to steal a shipment of gold being transported from London to the Crimean War front. Crichton takes you through Pierces thought process and the obstacles he faces on his way. But this one was so much better than the l... Read more

Dragon Teeth: A Novel

Review:I was suspicious when I heard a new Crichton book was coming out. However, I loved it and it absolutely felt like reading another classic by him. I loved it and would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

While My Pretty One Sleeps
While My Pretty One Sleeps

Review:I thought this book was the best book I have ever read. I will never forget this book. This story was a woman named Ethel. Ethel was an author and was also murdered in the book. The question is "who murdered her?". There are a few suspects. The first suspect is her nephew. He used to steal money from her quite often. The second suspect is her ex-husband. He has to pay 1,000 dollars alimony due to their divorce. Finally, the suspects are also some people, in which she was digging information ... Read more
