Shoot First (A Stone Barrington Novel)
Shoot First (A Stone Barrington Novel)

Review:Super fast paced. Relentless plot and edge of your seat excitement. Also one of the funniest Barrington novels ever. There are some scenes that are laugh out loud funny. I would put this as one of the top ten in the series. I just finished it and Iā€™m exhausted. If you have read other books in this series you are in for a real treat. Read more

Review:QStuart's books are very fast paced and interesting. You get very involved with his characters and want more after finishing each book. I went to the library so I could start at the beginning with Stone Barrington and I am about half way through. Read more

Dark Harbor (A Stone Barrington Novel)
Dark Harbor (A Stone Barrington Novel)

Review:I love the Stone Barrington series for pure escapism. The friendships of the characters and the hilarious banter among them keeps you going through to the end. This is a one or two night read, and I suggest you read the preceding books in the series first. Read more

Turbulence (A Stone Barrington Novel)
Turbulence (A Stone Barrington Novel)

Review:His books are really getting repetitive. Stone meets women, beds them, gets into trouble, eat out alt, move from one house to another - need some new characters andnew plots. He has become a serial womenizer and not very interesting. Read more

Dead in the Water: A Novel (Stone Barrington)
Dead in the Water: A Novel (Stone Barrington)

Review:This book is full of summery, tropical locations, sail boating, and a good ole murder mystery. My husband and I both read it, and realized we enjoy this author. Subsequently, we read the rest of his books. We particularly liked the Holly Barker character novels. Read more

Miracle Man (Volume 1)
Miracle Man (Volume 1)

Review:This book is absolutely awesome! I read at least one book per week and I would sacrifice one year of reading just to find another book as good as this one. ANYONE who enjoys fiction should read this book, no matter what type of fiction they prefer. Read more

Review:This book delivers a powerful piston of zippy, zangy, hard-hitting narrative straight to the facemeats. It's like the opposite of Mein Kampf, with washboard abs and binary biceps.

My only critique is that the ending felt a little abrupt, even for Wendig. However, that doesn't detract from the experience ā€“ the resolution is fresh, unexpected and satisfying all the same.

Side note ā€“ Reagan Stolper reminds me of Helga from The Oblongs. Read more

Paradox (An FBI Thriller Book 22)
Paradox (An FBI Thriller Book 22)

Review:Love her writting. And the FBI series is always great. But the same format on every one of these books? I would like to see Sherlock and Savic being more realistic. Never a disagreement is unrealistic. But I enjoy the books. Read more

Review:Gregg Hurwitz never disappoints. I couldn't put it down; I was reading every chance I could. There was some graphic violence but no more than you would expect given the circumstances. It was not dwelt on. There was only a minor amount of sexual content and it was not graphic. I loved this book as I have others of his that I've read. Read more
