A Gripping Serial Killer Thriller (Violet Darger FBI Thriller Book 2)
A Gripping Serial Killer Thriller (Violet Darger FBI Thriller Book 2)

Review:Glad I bought this book on sale. It was entertaining but not realistic. Caught myself wondering if the authors even took the time to consult with the FBI or police regarding procedures. If you want to be entertained, this book is OK. If you want suspense skip this book. Read more

The Bishop's Pawn: A Novel (Cotton Malone)
The Bishop's Pawn: A Novel (Cotton Malone)

Review:A story so well known by so many became, unfortunately a bit too predictable in story line for me. I'm glad to have read it, glad to have been reminded of the perilous time, but also glad to have finished it and put it behind me. Read more

Inca Gold (Dirk Pitt Adventures)
Inca Gold (Dirk Pitt Adventures)

Review:I recently read Atlantis Found and I think Inca Gold is much better. Yes, Pitt is still the superman Indiana Jones and of course him and his almost equally superhuman girlfriend save the day. But this time the bad guy was just someone who had a billion dollar operation in the illegal antique buisness and had nothing to do with nazi's. Now this bad guy I can deal with, and this book I actually finished so hey it is an improvement. This book may be great for some readers, but it is not for me. ... Read more

Deep Six (Dirk Pitt Adventure)
Deep Six (Dirk Pitt Adventure)

Review:Just when I think Cussler has created the most evil character, he out does himself. I cannot believe how vicious his lady Jane Fong was in this.

Pitt has such a knack for being in the right place at the right time, or the wrong time depending on your perspective.

This is a definite page turner. Read more

Raise the Titanic! (Dirk Pitt Adventure)
Raise the Titanic! (Dirk Pitt Adventure)

Review:No stars for Amazon. The page said downloadable for other devices. I have Nook, it wont download for Nook, so I essentially donated $1.99 to Amazon.
I purchased because I enjoy Clive Cussler and had hoped to read it again. Read more

Flood Tide (Dirk Pitt, No. 14)
Flood Tide (Dirk Pitt, No. 14)

Review:It's probably no secret now, that Clive Cussler is my favorite author. Flood Tide will become one of my favorites because I have been to New Orleans many times and could relate to this area in the story. The story line from start to finish made it difficult to insert a bookmark and stop reading until the next day. Read more

Cyclops (Dirk Pitt Adventures)
Cyclops (Dirk Pitt Adventures)

Review:I love these Isaac Bell adventures. They so accurately describe the days gone by in America that you can almost smell the manure in the NYC streets from the horse-drawn street cars and drayage carts. An excellent read and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one. Read more

Dragon (Dirk Pitt Adventures (Paperback))
Dragon (Dirk Pitt Adventures (Paperback))

Review:The Dirk Pitt series is great. Enjoyed it right to the end! Cussler has a way of taking the past, making it a little more interesting by building a tale around a single event. For a book written in 1988, it's amazing how close he came to the way events have unfolded in the past few years (middle-east & Egyptian situations)! Read more
