Fun Read. Enjoy the mix of Character development and how the plot has seeminly real elements of thruth coupled with the fictional pieces to help immerse the reader into the book. Nice fun easy reads.

It is a good typical Clive Cussler book. It keeps your interest and keeps you on the seat of your chair waiting for the next shoe to drop. Cussler always finds a way of pulling you into the story and making you a part of it!

The name Clive Cussler brings with it some very large expectations and the inevitable question: Will it be as good as his long list of classic adventure novels? Serpent delivers and answers that question with a large, "Yes!!!"
Mayday (Dirk Pitt Adventure Book 23) :: Flood Tide (Dirk Pitt, No. 14) :: The Russian Renaissance (Sokolov Book 1) :: Cyclops (Dirk Pitt Adventures) :: Odessa Sea (Dirk Pitt Adventure)

These books are great. Austin is the perfect fit to take over the role of the aging dirk pitt. not that Pitt has lost anything.
the facts and subject are just real enough to keep it all running and never let you put it down.
I hope to see more of these guys saving the world from evil.

Entertaining but unlikely. This isn't a story with character development or deep meaning. It's like a movie made for television; an adequately entertaining read. I don't think it is intended as more than that. After I finish a book like this I always feel the way I do after I realize I've eaten an entire bag of chips.

The history can be silly and forced at times that's not the point, is it fun. With it a doubt. Will I seek out more NUMA file in the future? I will. And I hope too see some of you along the next big road trip.
