The Listener: A Virtue Falls Short Story
The Listener: A Virtue Falls Short Story

Review:An quirky introduction to the town of Virtue Falls and four of its main characters as presented by a woman who hacks into text messages. The small plot is her discovery that two people are plotting a murder and she finds out she is the victim. The end of the novella is the beginning of Christina Dodd's latest romantic suspense thriller, Virtue Falls. Read more

The Demon Barker of Wheat Street (The Iron Druid Chronicles)
The Demon Barker of Wheat Street (The Iron Druid Chronicles)

Review:As with all the Kevin Hearne novels, I downloaded this one from audible. However, this time I promptly returned it. I will have to find the actual book now because for whatever reason, Luke Daniels is not the narrator for this book. When your used to a specific narrator, it just doesn't work when they change the person readers are used to listening to. I love Kevin Hearne. He is an excellent story teller. While I am sure this story is on par with the others I don't understand why they didn't get... Read more

Masked Ball at Broxley Manor (Her Royal Spyness)
Masked Ball at Broxley Manor (Her Royal Spyness)

Review:This book is 44 pages long. Very disappointing, just when you think that the story is going some where you are dumped out in the Cold. Very crude way to end the story. I am not usually fooled like this.

Makes me unhappy enough to boycott the author. This story ends so obliquely, you could almost say that it is an advertisement.

The final line ***spoiler**** is some thing like "only years later did I realize that the letter was from Mr. X!!". This probably means something to re... Read more

You Are Destined To Be Together Forever [an Odd Thomas short story] (Kindle Single)
You Are Destined To Be Together Forever [an Odd Thomas short story] (Kindle Single)

Review:Odd Thomas is a character I will treasure always, one that will resonate and keep me coming back to re-read the adventures he's taken, mourn with him again and be joyful with him again. If you've not read them do so, I love all of Mr. Koontz' works but these are my favoured by far. Read more

What He Commits (What He Wants, Book Thirteen)
What He Commits (What He Wants, Book Thirteen)

Review:This most definitely deserves a five star rating. This series has had me on my toes ever since I started reading . My wanted problem with this is that she takes too long to put out but of these books I have been anticipating book 13 for the longest while and I'm just getting a chance to read it. I'm happy I did. Definitely worth the read Read more

A Bonus Story (Lucky Santangelo) - A Santangelo Story
A Bonus Story (Lucky Santangelo) - A Santangelo Story

Review:Downloaded and read this short piece out of curiosity, and would have to echo the reviews of others - it's
very poorly written and a complete waste of time. There is no plot, no story ... no reason for this to have been written. I have also deleted it from my Kindle. Read more

Undenied: A Novella (The Amoveo Legend Book 0)
Undenied: A Novella (The Amoveo Legend Book 0)

Review:This novella seems to be the continuation of a prior novel as the two shifter characters we initially meet seem to have a shared history and very little background is given. So I surmise that I'll need to read the previously written novel to fill in my blanks. The plot is predictable; shared dreams, instant lust, then a hackneyed sex/love/ bonding scene, then a very abrupt conclusion/ cliffhanger. The upcoming war should be an interesting story to follow. What He Guards (What He Wants, Book Twelve)
What He Guards (What He Wants, Book Twelve)

Review:I enjoyed the books but agree with others, put the books into chapters and make a novel. I got hooked but wont agsin. I feel like I was tricked into spending more money than i normally would and am not only left hanging but also dissapointed. You dont need to trest your readers like that. Yes we take it like you set your sites on cash instead of the story and consideration of the reader.
PUBLISHER, please note above review. YOU are not treating us right either. What would you like in a good r... Read more

The Memory Lights: A Short Story
The Memory Lights: A Short Story

Review:The was well crafted. From the first sentence I was drawn into the story. There were parts when I was not sure where things were going. I never was clear about the light and her fear of the light. I finally figured it had to do with when she was first injured. The ending was not my favorite. I perfer endings that resolve letting you know what happens.
The ending is haunting and tends to stay with you and to me that makes a good book. Overall I liked the book. Read more
