Review:Enlightening, provocative, and new. Some Amazon people I spoke with had not yet heard of this book. Takes the 14 Principles off the wall and makes them addressable. Inspiring with a push to action. Read more
Review:Overall, the "nuggets" of valuable information could have been presented in about 50 pages, instead of having to wade through 250 pages of rambling. Skip Section 1 entirely unless you're hungry for general theory with virtually no practical application. Chapter 11 on writing and expressing yourself has some useful information. Probably the best part of the book is Appendix 2 which contains 50+ useful starting questions. It would be easy to miss this if I had given up before getting all the w... Read more

Review:Do not buy, half of these comments are probably paid off or asked to write the review. Bad book, do the research yourself because you will learn more and get the info you need. All this book doe (aside from support the author for his half witted opinions) is cover common sense items that if you don't understand already then you shouldn't be doing business. Read more
Review:The account is riveting and fast moving, hard to put down. If anything is missing, it is a wrap up or lessons learned. The message is certainly there, but the ending is a bit up in the air, like thee is a concluding chapter. Read more
Review:Accessible, long term history of the cotton industry and how it changed the world we now live in. Fascinating.
My only gripe is the lack of comparisons to other contemporaneous industries to really show the importance of cotton in each time period.
A minor issue for an overwhelming fascinating book and history that my friends have all been hearing about for weeks. Read more
Review:The game recaps and inside insight is truly amazing. The details about how this team was built are mind blowing. The pure dedication to success shown by this entire organization is present throughout and should serve as a guide to other teams and other sports. AAA+++ Read more
Review:This book is a great reference work, and was very enlightening. Very glad I bought it, if you are a perfumista you will find it to be very useful. I didn't agree with all of the reviews but they have definitely encouraged me to try perfumes that are outside my usual comfort zone. I would highly recommend picking up this volume. Read more
Review:Larry McDonald writes a book about the Lehman collapse that is entertaining and humorous, which is amazing considering he is writing about fairly complicated financial matters. I know many of the people he writes about, and he truly catches their essences well. Patrcik Robinson has done it again. I enjoyed Lone Survivor, but this book is even better. I am glad that I added it to my summer reading list! Read more
Review:I ripped through this book, which moved with the speed and drama of a movie script. Great writing and the characters are all real and somewhat familiar. What I leaned and should have expected, is that when it comes to the founding of any company, it’s often not only complicated but messy too.To think that all of this emanated from just a hundred and forty characters. Who knew? Read more
