Review:The whole planet is getting fat, each cow uses over 2000 gallons of water, cows and chickens produce a huge amount of methane and global warming, and animal fats cause heart attacks (read the story about Norway in WW2). I'm curious: Is there ANY benefit to eating a high calorie, non-plant based diet?
If you can't just do it, this book makes it doable. Read more
Review:I LOVE this cookbook. Incredibly healthy, super easy! I am learning to make my most favorite food on the planet...Ethiopian. I am a yogi and have been making Kitchari for years. I absolutely love the one in this book the best. I cannot recommend this book more. This one, I will never get rid of. Read more
Review:This arrived yesterday and although I have not used it I looked through it and it appears to be exactly what I need. Recipes look easy without strange ingredients which I have never heard of. Looking forward to using it. Read more
Review:My daughter in law just made a trip to NYC and ate at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill and I thought that it would be fun to get a cookbook from his restaurant. The book is excellent and the service was great as well. Read more
Review:I bought this for my girlfriend's birthday and so, she made ratatouille for Thanksgiving. Oh, so good, even if Bourdain's recipe has an abundance of steps. Although this is obviously a cookbook, there is a lot about technique and a philosophy of cooking. A good read, even when you're not in the kitchen. Read more

This is a good grouping of contemporary recipes with zip, often with international flair (oriental, Mexican, etc.). Some recipes are updated twists on old faves like Tuna Melt but with artichokes; B... Read more
Review:The recipies all have a very long ingrediant list and can be pretty complicated. I work alot and was hopping for somthing to just tell me what to eat while pregnet and a halfway simple way to do it. I only made the muffin recipies, they were good and was happy with how healthy they were but took alot of time and don't keep very well. Read more
