Education & Teaching
Review:careful where you read it, an emotional trip on each diary entry. Inspirational if the worlds teachers were all half as good. If we were all half as good as we could be toward each other... a must read for all schools, but how many will be brave enough to highlight their short comings.. and ours.. Read more
Review:Very helpful book, I liked all of the different sections and practice tests. I wish it did a little bit more to teach you some of the quantitative concepts, but it does a great job of explaining the steps for solving a problem in the answer sections. Read more
Review:Outstanding book that lays out the scientific case for intelligent design and a God who created the universe. I didn't realize the degree to which scientists had discounted Darwinism because it's unsubstantiated, but of course the liberals in the media and academia hate to admit that. Strobel interviews leading scientists in a variety of disciplines who provide irrefutable evidence that our existence is not an accident or that we are descended from pond scum. Looking forward to reading Strobe... Read more
Review:The book did arrive on time and in good condition. HOWEVER, it is not the book pictured! I am lucky my professor is allowing the book that was shipped to me to be used. It is a blue one and a totally different edition that the one in the picture, the one I thought I was buying. I would not buy from this seller again. Read more
Review:I was impressed how the author explained the policies and interactions to the society which are not complicated for beginners to understand. There so much still to learn from this book.I'm still at early chapters of the book and I truly enjoy what I'm learning so far. The author keeps me engage and focus on most topics which he emphasizes through series of examples in the chapter. I'm looking forward to the author other books such as Micro and Macro economics. STEM education is a great choice for students who are interested in these subjects, and certainly provides more immediately marketable skills, if that is the goal. These are vital in our technical world. However, many individuals are not interested in a technical subject, A broad education p... Read more
Review:The paperback edition looks to professionally manufactured. It was shipped to me in a rigid cardboard box to prevent damage to the book. The book material looks straightforward and to the point. Only time will tell if the information relayed in the book is key in scoring high in the LSAT. Read more
Review:The advice in this book is priceless. It really makes a big difference on the job market. I personally did my job documents with Karen and her help was amazing. However, the only reason I give this book 4 stars is because almost all of what it contains is already on the blog, sometimes word for word. As someone who read the blog so many times, I found that a little disappointing as I was hoping for a little more. I am still happy that I have it in a book and do not need browse around the bl...
