Review:I had to write my review right away after finishing this one. I don't want to forget a thing and yet I have a feeling that I'll write this and then go back thinking about the book more and more and wanting to add other of my rambling thoughts. This is one that I just don't want to leave anything out, yet of course still be vague and not share any spoilers, yet how can I not share all these thoughts....
I Love, Love, Love Marissa Meyer's writing. She creates these amazing worlds that draw ... Read more
Review:A great read. I love the dynamic between the characters. I would like a little more love playing out between the two to show their love story but really enjoy the plot etc. Looking forward to the next book! Read more
Review:The Hazel Wood was a dark, gritty and unique novel. I was intrigued by this story from beginning to end. There was something so consuming and addictive about this book. The author's writing style was captivating and whimsical, I loved it.
The plot of this book was interesting, but there were times when the book felt a bit slow. There were a lot of times when the book was so descriptive that it felt like the plot wasn't actually moving anywhere. As I said, I loved the writing, however, I d... Read more
Review:Thank you to Blogging for Books for a physical copy in exchange for my honest review.
Leigh Bardugo has done it again. I loved her Shadow and Bone Trilogy and I have now loved Wonder Woman!
If you've seen the movie just forget almost everything about it when it comes to this book. Well maybe besides how good Gal Gadot is an amazing Wonder Woman. Okay, Let's get to the actual book now.
Princess Diana is the underdog on the Island she's the Queens daughter and because she hasn... Read more
Review:I like the stories. However these are VERY short books. The stories end at the 64% mark on my Kindle. The last third is filled with teasers and acknowledgements. A little longer than short stories, I think they should be priced much cheaper. Read more
Review:This series of books have to be the best I had read in years. I couldn't put it down. I got so involved with the characters. I am totally addicted to the Outlander series. I have just purchased books 5-8. Have just started them and I can't imagine they could be any better than these first ones were. Read this series. You will love it.
I am totally in love with Jamie and Clair as a couple and Jamie as a man. I can't say enough about how wonderful these books are. Read more
Review:It is not comprehesive enough in terms of characters coverage. No information about the war between the dwarves and the dragon, no information about the war between the dwarves and the Orcs. I personally do not think it is a visual companion which cannot leave the readers especially those who have watched the film a positive impression. If you compare the similar essential visual guide published by DK for other films and other stories, DK is much much better. I hope the publisher of The Hobbit... Read more
Review:I wanted to like this book. I read the entire thing hoping that it would redeem itself before it was over. Much of it I had to force myself through just to read it. I think I needed a list of characters to help me remember who was who. This came as a highly recommended book and obviously a lot of people really like it because it's rated well. Maybe I'm missing something? It just seemed boring and confusing. :/ Read more
Review:I can see a lot of people hating this book, because the main plot involves a 90 year old falling in love with a 14 year old virgin whore. And taken at face value, a lot of what goes on in this story can be pretty twisted--but having said that, I really don't think you're supposed to take this story at face value. The main protagonist, when you take a step back, is sad, and his insides are contorted with nostalgia and a lack of fulfillment in his life. I don't want to spoil too much, but it's pre... Read more
Review:The book is undoubtedly a classic and a masterpiece, it's just not my cup of tea. I don't like it when reality and fiction are mixed to that extent. The use of the Spanish language is superb, I had to look up so many words in the dictionary and Spanish is my first language. Having said all that I'm glad I read it. Read more
