Review:This was a great book but I felt like these two characters (Jim and Dali) could have gotten a full length novel. Hopefully the authors will be considering this for the future. I just love the Kate Daniels world and any book that these authors put out is worth the time and cost. Read more
Review:I loved On the Edge, enjoyed Bayou Moon, but wasn't interested in Fate's Edge b/c I didn't particularly care for Kaldar. I finally read this book b/c even an Ilona Andrews' book I'm not interested in is better than most & I was between books.
I was pleasantly surprised. I really came to like Kaldar, and he & Audrey are great together. What made the book for me, though, was George & Jack. They play an integral part of the story, and even though they are kids, their presence tru... Read more
Review:This story is really great, which is no surprise coming from these authors. The best part is that it's a simple story about a boy and a girl and a pig. Seriously, though, it's fun and cute, plus there are explosions and magic, so it's basically perfect. Really a good read, well worth your time. Read more
Review:Love it, really loved the stories about mercy when she was growing up with the pack. Would love to read a book about that. Loved Ana & Charles as always. And it was nice to see a different more likeable side leah. Read more
Review:Gunmetal Magic is the book 5.5 of the Kate Daniels series featuring side character Andrea Nash in her first stand alone novel. The first novella featuring Andrea Nash was first published in the anthology "Must Love Hellhounds". You don't need to read the novella before reading this book but, it's a fantastic short story. This series takes place in Atlanta, GA after magic has brought all technology and life as we know it to ruins. There are vampires, shifters, magic users, and many other creature... Read more
Review:I rarely take time to write a review even though I read books constantly, but this was one of those I just couldn't put down! It was a great read and held my attention, which is hard to do as I will scan ahead if a book isn't as interesting. I hope another book will follow soon- this story line was amazing!!! Read more
Review:The slippage of beings from one world to another is not so easy here, and magic often brings madness along for the ride. Andrews fleshes out several distinctive characters, too, all of them interesting.
Highly recommended. Read more
Review:These books were great! They came in the box and were even wrapped in plastic, obviously new. They came quickly as well and I used the texts to my phone to track it which is something I really like. My only problem was that they were a tad expensive, but nothing like how much i would have had to pay if I bought them at a local bookstore Read more
Review:The Haven is exciting. I enjoyed the keep me on my toes writing. I love to read books that keep my thinking about what will happen next when I have to put it down for the night. Eleira is a strong girl in my opinion. James, Raul, and Phillip are typical siblings with the added power of being vampires. Each has his own good and bad characteristics. I was pretty upset about James in the end and really surprised at Phillip near the end as well. It was sweet yet sad that Raul and Eleira were n... Read more
Review:Such a well written and interesting book. It is an amazing blend of fantasy and Greek mythology. Romance, mystery, romance, suspense, romance! I'm sad the book is over but happy there are more to read!!! But be warned, once you pick it up it's hard to put it down so you may find yourself up late muttering, "just one more chapter." Read more
