Review:I have been hearing so much about this book and the sequel, Ice Like Fire, that I decided to pick it up at the library. I am soooooooo glad that I did.

Review:The cover was so beautiful I wanted to step through and be that girl. The description was inviting, however, upon finishing the book... I wished the story could have been as beautiful as the cover. The story wasn't horrible. I have read worse- however I wish the author was a little more original instead of using a story that already exists and change a few things and call it new. Review:Hale has a great style of keeping you entertained and giving you a satisfying ending. I think the mark of a really poor writer is one that has to leave a cliff hanger to make you feel obligated to buy the next. I only buy Hale books because I *love* her stories! Review:This book keeps you turning the pages. You enjoy the main character and her troublemaking that is fun but not so over the top to be unrealistic. The prince is an interesting character as well who I am very much looking forward to watching evolve. While I really hope the grammer errors, lost plots and confusing sentances are fixed in the next book, they didn't make the book impossible to read or unenjoyable by any means.

Review:I enjoyed reading this book, in fact I blew through it in two days, but I don't think I would pick it up one million times to purposely immerse myself in its pages. Having read many Beauty and the Beast based fiction I feel this one would have been better served as its own story with its own well-rounded lore. As it stands "Lost in a Book" reads too much like a fanfiction in writing and story-telling skill. Read more

Review:This is a great addition to the Selection series. I loved hearing the back story of the Queen and King; it provided some great insight into their personalities in the Selection series. It allowed me to have a little more respect for the King. I would definitely recommend reading this if you liked the Selection books! I just wish it was longer! Read more
