Review:I have bought a number of coloring books that has to do with animals. I do enjoy animals and coloring them relaxed me. My grandchildren like to watch and wants me to hang the pictures on their walls. Anyone that likes animals I would say buy the books and let you kids or grandkids post them in areas that could decorate and not destory their walls. You could share the fun. Read more
Review:I am using this book to homeschool my kindergartener. When we started she had no reading experience other than knowing what sound each letter makes. This book is amazing. It is such an easy and simple approach, yet it does the job wonderfully. The child learns to read without being bogged down with rules; only a few rules are mentioned. This book is great for kids who still have trouble with handwriting because it is almost entirely oral. I only gave 4 stars simply because I disagree with a fe... Read more
Review:I used this book to help study for the MSAT (Calif. teacher's test). This book, along with "What Your 6th Grader Needs To Know" taught me, in bare-bones terms, the necessary points of each subject. Review:I bought this for our 2nd grader, midway through the year. Some of what is in the book he is learning this year, but most is representative for 3rd grade curriculum. It covers many different areas, so if you are looking for one book to do it all, this is a great one. It's big, so I like that you can easily tear out pages if you would like. Most importantly, he really enjoys it compared to other workbooks we have used. Read more

Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell continue to offer darling books with deep meaning. Their latest, BIG WORDS FOR LITTLE PEOPLE, is yet another enjoyable installment. Although the phrasing is a little strained at times--to fit in some rhymes--the choice and explanation of each "big" word is nicely done. Cornell's trademark style once again illustrates the pages with sweet cacophony. In her drawings, she somehow manages to have a lot hap... Read more

Review:Love this book. I gave it four stars just because I should have checks the dimensions better and the pages tear very easily, which is unfortunate. I will need another one either bigger or in board book style. Read more
Review:Best if your first language is English....extremely hard if you are a second language learner. However, I have had upper elementary, go-getter students who wanted to challenge themselves who were ESL students. Just be careful to not overwhelm ESL beginners. Read more
Review:I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is taking Calculus. Each problem is explained step by step and the formulas are constantly reminded. There are a wide range of problems from easy to difficult which makes learning gradual and permanent. The writer has a good sense of humor and is a good teacher. Read more
