Review:Most would find some of the exaggeration and belaboring of detail too tedious. Some would find tales too outlandish etc. I happen to love everything Clemens wrote, and am also fascinated by boats, rivers, geography, yada. I thought the appendix with the full native American legend to be one of those unexpected gems that just knocks me on my butt. Read more

Review:Short story installment set in the future of DBDA. Loved every second of it. I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed stepping back into the DBDA Universe even if for only an hour. If you haven't read the other 3 books I highly recommend you do but it's not a requirement for this story to capture you. At 2.99 it's a steal... and a hook. Get it, read it, love it. Read more
Review:I liked this sweet, clean read for the most part. Caleb and Holly were best friends growing up. Practiced kissing each other at twelve to prepare for the real thing but then things began to change. Caleb lived on the rich side of the street while Holly lived on the poor side. I didn't realize that was quite possible but ok moving on Caleb got mixed in with the wild crowd and so hanging out with the sweet Holly didn't look good.
