Mystery & Suspense
Review:This book continues the tale of women who are seeking revenge for injustices. The book is well-written and less violent than the second book. The story captures the reader's attention and keeps it with some well-written dialogue. The continuing saga between one of the women and her district attornery fiance is allows for continuation of the storyline. Read more
Review:I like Nora Roberts very much. I like this particular book enough to have read it twice. It has her usual interesting, smart, strong female character with the interesting past, and the usual warm, kind male character, but somehow every time she writes the plot is different and so are the people. That is what keeps me reading. Read more
Review:At first I was reluctant to read this book, since I usually don't like books where there is a lot of suspense, and where there is killing, but since it was by Nora Roberts, I decided to give it a chance. I LOVED it. The way she wrote it made you fall in love with the characters. It is impossible to put down once you start, and truly keeps you on the edge of your seat. One of her best books. Read more
Review:I expected this to be a good paranormal romance but was somewhat disappointed. There was not enough plot or character development for my taste. I think all in all it was worth reading . . . . Made for a nice, relaxing distraction from the woes of reality! Read more

Review:4 Stars... The second book in the "Krewe Hunters" series focuses on Jake Mallory who, along with his team, is called in to investigate a missing persons case causing him to be reunited with his soulmate, Ashley Donegal... The case quickly turns to a murder investigation, seeped in Civil War history, and ghostly presences begin to entwine themselves within this haunting mystery... Heather Graham provides a strong historical foundation within which she creates a twisting, turning "who done it" cas... Read more
Review:I enjoy reading all of Heather Graham's Krewe stories and she can through again with this one. Ghoststories have always held my interest and she keeps the story interesting enough that at time it is hard to put the book down and get work done. Read more
Review:My favorite aspect of this story was it's Irishness. Is that a thing? If not, it should be. The story involves an Irish-American family, proud of their heritage and operating a family pub in New York City, named Finnegans. Most of the characters were of Irish descent and they just had a wonderful and supportive community base that centered around the pub. The love and support between the Finnegan family was plain to see... but they had an extended family of sorts with regulars at the pub, which ... Read more
Review:Julian is the same crass sexy vampire he was minus the homicidal tendencies. Keeping the characters from kindred true really pulled me in. The addition of Quinn only made the story even more compelling. Now their world has more than one oddity. This book is well worth the read. Read more
Review:It started with the introduction from both sites view, what they do, what they think about marriage. He is believing in a fairy tale wedding, she is not.
All in all the writing did not suck you in, it's kind of boring. Not my book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Read more
