Julian is the same crass sexy vampire he was minus the homicidal tendencies. Keeping the characters from kindred true really pulled me in. The addition of Quinn only made the story even more compelling. Now their world has more than one oddity. This book is well worth the read.

I haven't even read the previous series and after getting the characters straight in my head was surprised how much I was sucked into this book. I can't wait for the next one and am now reading everything I can get my hands on!

The book was fantastic. I loved the storyline. I've read The Kindred series, and was very happy to see a storyline with Julian. Erica Stevens definitely knows how to keep your attention! I look forward to reading the next book.
