No. 4) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - Four to Score (Stephanie Plum

Review:My CD collection of the original unabridged version read by the original narrators added a humorous good natured atmosphere to the listening experience. The new releases are flat. Not much interest in discerning between the characters is evident. Hardly worth replacing my collection. My memory will have to do. Read more

The Scam: A Fox and O'Hare Novel
The Scam: A Fox and O'Hare Novel

Review:I am never disappointed in any of her books. When you find great authors - you always follow their books. One of my favorites is how they put humor in with mystery. Memorable characters in her books. The best of times is when you have the honor of finally meeting them in real life. Read more

No. 5) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - High Five (Stephanie Plum

Review:You find out right at the beginning of the book that between the last one and this one she and Morelli have already been in a relationship and broken up. The one thing you've been waiting to happen for 4 BOOKS and the author cuts you out of it. Oh, you reading this for Stephanie and Morelli's relationship? Joke's on you. How rude of this author. Such a disappointment. I wish I never had invested the time or money into reading this series. Read more

Fifth Grave Past the Light (Charley Davidson Series)

Review:I have thoroughly enjoyed all Darynda Jones Carley Davidson series. Fifth Grave is up there with the best of them. The sense of humour is a hoot, the romance sizzles and story line keeps up the drama and intrigue. Great book, highly recommended! Read more

Ten Years Gone (Private Investigator Adam Lapid Historical Mystery

Review:I always enjoy a good historical mystery and this book did not disappoint. Not only does the author take you through twists and turns of who might have had a motive, he also gives the reader a small insight into the aftermath of the Holocaust as well as the British Mandate and the subsequent rebirth of an independent Israel. Shroud for a Nightingale (Adam Dalgliesh Mystery Series #4)
Shroud for a Nightingale (Adam Dalgliesh Mystery Series #4)

Review:This is an early CID Adam Dalgliesh of the Scotland Yard mystery that opens with a nurse, Miss Beale, an Inspector of Nurse Training Schools to the General Nursing Council goes to Heatheringfield, England, out in the country where the John Carpenter Hospital has been since 1792. The nursing school is in the Nightingale House, an old haunted Victorian House that, in many people's opinions, is quite inappropriate for a nursing school in that the windows, while pretty, do not allow enough light in...
