Review:I gave it three stars because it was good. I liked the storyline. I likened that there were a few surprises and twist. There should have been more. After all the characters were introduced I thought the story could have had more action Read more

Review:This is the third story in the Perfect Gentleman series that brings the reader Dax Spencer’s story and what a suspenseful, action packed one it is. Holland Kirk is a feisty, sharp NCIS investigator who is Dax’s match and gives him a good run for his money.

Review:Well dang it, I wanted to dislike this book, I really did. There are more than enough badly written stories blurring the lines of my dearly beloved fantasy and science fiction with the horrible romance section to make me want to throw up. This book looked like another one of those silly throw away cheesecake reads with a little magic thrown in to keep the bodice ripper readers happy. Right? Nope, it's fun, it is a quick happy read and I really enjoyed the whole thing.
Yes the three si... Read more

Review:The twelfth book in the excellent Prey series is a welcome change, since the last entry was a disappointment. Sandford has returned to his particular plot device of focusing on the villain, so although there is no mystery about whodunnit, the excitement comes from tracking Lucas Davenport and his team of Minneapolis cops as they stumble their way to the truth. A solid secondary character emerges, a deputy from a rural county with a strong stake in finding the serial killer. Davenport's personal ... Read more
Review:The Book of Lost Things: The lost things, yes, as well as the sometimes "LOST" passion, dedication, and charming pleasures in reading a good and well-written book. It is difficult to find the "one adjective" I would use if someone were to ask me to resume this novel in one word. I read a lot of books (and of all kinds and genres), but very seldom (unfortunately) I feel a sense of melancholy and nostalgia once I have finished it. These mixed feelings, after all, are most positive. I think that on... Read more
Review:Engaging and a huge relief from the "tough girl falls for big bad guy" dreck that floods the market. The characters are believable. There's no sudden super talent to suddenly save the day, either. I'd recommend starting at the beginning of the series, but only because each book adds slowly to the bigger story. You might have to look up some of the slang if you're not familiar with the modern UK. Read more
