Review:Disappointing, out of touch with reality, and uninspired! How on earth is selling someone else's stuff considered a "next level idea" while selling your own products is deemed a "starter idea" by the author. This book understates the effort and time required to carry out a successful side hustle and over-estimates the likelihood of success. The suggested ideas are weak and lack creativity, making me cringe at times.
These five-star reviews must be the doing of side hustlers.

Review:A great book. Highly recommended especially for anyone interested in creating a start up or boosting a company's growth. “The Art of Startup Fundraising" is a great tool for any entrepreneur. It provides a great vision on what investors are looking for. Having done fund raising my self, it is clear that the author has vast experience in fund raising. The book is short, easy to read and goes straight to the points that matter. Read more
Review:If Antonio Martinez never writes another book, he will still go down as the author who best captured the Zeitgeist in the hottest (dare I say central?) industry of our times.
Much like Michael Lewis’ debut a short 26 years ago, this is the story of a young graduate who lands a seat at the high table without having formally been invited, makes the most of it, keeps his sanity and lives to tell.
So you follow him from the Vampire Squid to Adchemy, you cheer for him when he persuades ... Read more
Review:This book was suggested during a webinar. After reading the first chapter online, I couldn't wait to get it in my hands. It has not disappointed. The information is perhaps what I already knew but with direct methods and candid humor. I love that it wasn't a dry business manual but rather a "walk with me while we explore how you can be the best business owner EVER." I will suggest this to my clients as well as anyone who has ever dreamed of being a business owner. I've ordered the previous book,... Read more
Review:One of the best nonfiction books I've ever read. Carreyrou does a good job of explaining the science behind blood testing/assays in layman's terms. Parts of this book read like fiction because of how unbelievable the (true) story became. Read more

Review:The big negative is it's repetitive.
But the basic story is a good one - I can vouch for that as I've started several businesses on a shoestring myself. Obviously I have not had Daymonds success but I am worth more than 2 million. Daymond is reported to be worth about $100 million.
He is 100% correct that throwing more money at most problems often does not solve the problem or improve your business as much as doing things on cheap (but that doesn't mean not using your skills/traini... Read more
Review:Bought this book to help me trigger some ideas to climb out of the daily grind. Don't buy this if you're looking for a get easy way to get rich without working hard. The author, Scott Fox is very encouraging and helps you get your creative juices flowing, but be prepared to work it if you want to make a decent living. Read more
