Review:Wins the award for worst book design of the year. The text is almost unreadable as it is microscopically small, condensed, boldface and sans-serif, all of these opposite to what is needed for readability. The lines are unreadably wide and the margins are absurdly small, the gutter being so minimal that one must virtually break the spine to read the nearby text. The many illustrations are so muddily printed that one can not make sense of the book's discussion of them. E.g., the text refers to pai... Read more

How Schools Around the World Are Inspiring Greatness

Review:This second edition exceeded my expectation! Just another contribution as to why Dr. Steven R. Covey deserves to considered one of the best educators and leadership authors. Just brilliant to fuse the highly acclaimed "7 Habits" concept to K-12 education that result in outstanding learning outcomes! Should be required reading for parents, Broads, administrator and committed faculty!

Being and Nothingness
Being and Nothingness

Review:This book is really a propaganda piece whose primary objective was to rouse French people to resist German occupiers. Published under enemy censorship, it reads between the lines as an appeal to French guilt about not facing up to their responsibilities. Sartre risked his life in the underground and hoped that his fellow countrymen would get the same message. It was written deliberately in a pseudo-Germanic, Heidegger-type complicated style to fool German censors into thinking that it was a w... Read more

and Disease. God's Healing is for You! (Prayers for Spiritual Battle)

Review:Awesome book on healing Scriptures! Pastor Eckhardt has introductions to each chapter that build up your belief and faith in God's healing throughout the whole Bible. He teaches that healing by prayer and the anointing of oil is still relevant today as it was in the days of the prophets, apostles and disciples, and healthy living is not just maintained by food, but by God's Word and condition of the heart too. The Portrait of a Lady - Volume 1

Review:The author put lots of thinking on how the people in that period lived. He described people's thought processes vividly. The turn of the story was unexpected at the first thought. Then one would realize that it was in human nature to develop that way. Read more
