Bella never fails to exceed my expectations and book 27 is no exception!
We learn more about new and quickly beloved characters and more questions about unknown pasts are raised and the plot thickens! Book 27 takes off and keep moving right up until the last page. Do NOT start it at bedtime if you plan to sleep, you won't be able to put it down til you've read all the way through! Can't wait for the next story!! Read more
Review:Possibly my favorite book in the series so far. I don't know how Bella's imagination keeps going so strong. I love all the slow blossoming love stories. The build up is perfect. And Serena's breakthrough in the end was beautiful. I love this series so much that I started from the beginning again just so I don't have to go through withdrawals while waiting on the next book. Review:This book really brings some of the other books together. In the beginning gives you what you've been after for awhile. Leaves you with some heart felt warmth. Can't give any spoilers, must read to find out. See you in the shade. Read more
Review:This story was full of action, doom almost but like always, everything almost worked. There was plenty of drama and sadness but also hope in the horizon. And there's always romance to help, even bromance Read more
Review:This is a wonderful story about a family that had unconditional love, most of the time, for each other. The title fits this story perfectly! Enjoyed how the author developed the characters making me feel as if I knew them, I felt their pain & their joy! This story did bring me to tears toward the end. A little too wordy & descriptive in places, also the proof reader missed a lot.. Very upset with Olivia telling Sarah’s secret and never apologizing! Still highly recommend reading ??.... Read more
Review:Introducing teens to a dystopian, futuristic New York City ( Manhattan City) and the surrounding "cities" (ex. Bronx City) is quickly accomplished with this well imagined novel. The main character is a determined young woman whose fate was cast by the prenatal "adjustments " chosen [or forced upon?] by her mother. Readers will identify with the unfairness, the frustrations, and the all too real life-situations. Choices abound and not all of them are good. The powerful have too much of everythin... Read more
Review:In a time of dystopian stories, this one stood out and grabbed my interest. Not only great characters and adventure, but also depth to dive into with our very real reality of an ever growing population..... Read more
Review:The story is easy reading and has a great meaning. I think it should be required reading for children in middle school thru high school. The story shows how one can overcome deep rooted anger and also the feeling of helplessness. I read it along with my granddaughter (she's in 6th grade) and we had some good discussions. Going to try and get my grandson to read who is in high school (9th grade). Read more
Review:Not my typical read, but a enjoyable change of pace. I was a little worried by the first few chapters, but that changed suddenly and I found myself so engaged that I couldn't put the book down. Dark Mercy has action, romance, a compelling story line, and believable, well developed characters set in the 1400's. It is marketed as a teen book, although I don't think I would recommend it to my young teenage daughter, but I am conservative in this regard. A great read! Read more
