Crimson Crown, The (Seven Realms Book 4)
Crimson Crown, The (Seven Realms Book 4)

Review:This book is amazing. A series well worth reading. The ending brought tears to my eyes. This is truly the most beautiful ending I have read in a book like this. I am literally fighting off years. China Williams China crafted a masterpiece out of words that will touch my heart for many years to come. Hopefully I will never forget the beauty of this book. Dragon Heir, The (Book 3) (Heir Chronicles)
Dragon Heir, The (Book 3) (Heir Chronicles)

Review:Warning: Here there be spoilers (semi-mild)!

I'm usually a calm reader when I read books. I might weep a little or laugh aloud on occasion, but I rarely wind up acting like I did when I finished The Dragon Heir. My chest was so constricted I could hardly breathe. I was grateful my parents didn't wake up because I was breathing so loudly. The last battle had me shaking like a leaf.

Cinda Chima's latest novel is a jewel rivaling the Dragonheart itself. From start to finish I treasure... Read more

The Enchanter Heir (Heir Chronicles Book 4)

Review:The fourth installment of the series, I went into it a little rusty, having not read the others for years. Chima's storytelling is a little different, but mostly in a good way. Her turns of phrases are not usually typical, and it's refreshing. While some of her prose can be clunky or awkward, or her descriptors slightly bizarre, it generally has the effect of realistic beauty, flesh and blood happenings, which to me, sets it apart from the vast majority of supernatural urban fiction. She's not t... Read more

Ghostwater (Cradle Book 5)

Review:After every book I find myself more and more engrossed in this fantasy world and the only part I find unpleasant is having to wait till the next book is released. Will Wight has become my favorite author period. Keep it up Will and please dont stop writing! Read more

The Rogue Queen (The Hundredth Queen Book 3)
The Rogue Queen (The Hundredth Queen Book 3)

Review:I was sharply disappointed in this last book of the series-especially since I enjoyed the first two preceding books. The plot was boring-battles here, there, and everywhere. Kali was complaining to herself about how ill and cold she constantly felt but even in her weakened state was able to defeat the demon so that he had to flee the city. Ah, really? It just seemed so uninspired and trite. Read more

Every Little Piece (Second Chances, Book 1)
Every Little Piece (Second Chances, Book 1)

Review:This book turned out to be nothing like I expected (in a good way). The book had everything that I like in a book- romance, suspense, drama, comedy. Reading the book was like a roller coaster ride of emotions, one minute you are happy, then the author tugs at your heart strings, and then a twist in the story happens here and there. Great read. Review:This book was very calming.....it wasn't one that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but it was very interesting to read. I LOVE Julian. He is the sweetest guy ever. I hate how Anna's and Jack's relationship happened. And this book has the stupidest ending EVER!! It's like the author ran out of ideas in the end. But i think anyone should read it Read more

Review:This isn’t a typical high school romance, they absolutely hate each other. I was expecting things to be so plain and the story plot to be like all the others, but this one surprised me.

Because of Him (Fortunate Book 1)
Because of Him (Fortunate Book 1)

Review:Unfortunately, I just didn't get into this story. I will be honest, I'm just not a fan of the whole teacher/student relationship. I most likely would not have purchased it knowing that. But to be fair, it was written well and there is a lightness to the characters that is good. It was kind of true to life in that people are often to be quick to judge people based on hearsay and appearances instead of getting to know someone. If you don't mind the teacher/student thing, give it a shot. :) Read more
