Review:More action packed than before, we finally get to learn more about dragons and the history of the world they live in. Also Julius coming into his own was great to see. I can't wait to see what happens in the third installment! Read more
Review:With her usual aplomb, Shari Tapscott has taken a classic fairy tale and put her own spin on it.
Etta is the miller's daughter, and as such her life is very run-of-the-mill (which I think is where the expression comes fromt). When she meets Beau, a handsome young man, she is intrigued, and when she finds out he is the heir to a noble estate that has been taken over by a vengeful ogre, it sets forth a chain of events that are both thrilling and fun to read. Oh, and there's a talking cat, c... Read more
Review:Imagine if you could hear demons. What would they say? What secrets would they hold? They slither and hiss and writhe about their victims, like a noxious cloud of leaking riddles. Never had they shared an omen, especially of their prey’s impending doom.

Review:I recently tweeted this:
I binge book series like I binge TV.

Review:I have to agree with the reviewer who complained about the sermons. This book is even more littered with preaching than Little Men and Little Women, and that's saying something. Probably a good 20% of this book is skip-worthy for that reason.
Alcott was always prone to littering her works with literary and artistic references (calling Amy "Raphael," and whatnot), but she seems to have gone dramatically overboard in this book, with references to almost all of Goethe's various fictional c... Read more
Review:I love the way that Ridley fight against her feelings, that's why I give to the story 3 stars. However, I ended the book with the need of action, but I hope to find it in Dangerous Creatures.
Anyway, it a placer start reading the stories of Beautiful/Dangerous creatures, again. Read more
Review:A good quality x-men run and of course considered a staple in x-men lore, i'm only taking out a star because I personally hate jean grey and Scott summers and of course this revolves around them. This also has a weird tangent where jean thinks she's someone called the red queen and she lives in the 1800's? idk man like a said, weird tangent in the story Read more
Review:I don't usually do reviews but... I really enjoyed this book. Enough so that I had to immediately get the second book so I could find out whether or not Krissa reversed the spell. Great story Ms Freeman. Read more
