1001 Mixed Drinks and Everything You Need to Know to Set Up Your Bar
1001 Mixed Drinks and Everything You Need to Know to Set Up Your Bar

Review:I was not impresed with this book. While everything is sorted it is still kind of piled together(small print and crapping newprint paper with no space between anything). I looked up some of my favorite and the recipes were messed up. Read more

Culinary Artistry
Culinary Artistry

Review:It's very difficult to read considering they have typos like crazy. They reference Italian fish by the wrong name, so you're really getting a lot of misinformation. Overall, the title is misleading. It's more a series of small interviews and insights into some professional chefs, with a general theme that runs throughout the pages that "less is more." There are a few ideas on how some of the chefs construct their menus, and ingredients that go together. Read more

The Art and Science of the Perfect Cocktail - Liquid Intelligence
The Art and Science of the Perfect Cocktail - Liquid Intelligence

Review:It's a fascinating and immensely helpful book for those who want to make not just good cocktails but great cocktails. Even if you only care about an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan, Dave's pages (yes pages) on these two are amazingly useful. Sure, you can just use the pages of recipes and formula tables to make your drinks but really this is a book for those who want to know a bit more about what makes a good drink. Dave tackles everything from the basic classics that require nothing but booze, ice... Read more

Coffee 2017 Wall Calendar

Review:Amazing calendar, well designed with really great photos throughout. I am very obsessed with the musical and the lyrics on each page just jump out at you when you look at it. Also the months have really clever important dates added in addition to traditional holidays, like the day of Washington's birth, Jefferson's death, etc. This is so cool! Read more
