The Ridge
The Ridge

Review:Every once in a while a really good supernatural book comes along with possible solutions to real threats....this is one of those times! An excellent, non-stop story that incorporates a big cat sanctuary into a devil possession tale. Not sure how Mr. Koryta did that but its quite an accomplishment. Even the character development, though not extensive, is enough to relate to the people in Blade Ridge.

The deaths over the decades have a commonality that are discovered by a "put out to pastu... Read more

The Awakening
The Awakening

Review:Although this book may have been the cat's meow in its day,
today it is one huge bored yawn. The characters were cardboard and
not a bit relatable. You do not identify with anything about
these privileged ladies , and you do not even care what happens to them.
So sorry I wasted both my money and my time. Read more

The Hour I First Believed: A Novel
The Hour I First Believed: A Novel

Review:I have enjoyed reading Wally Lamb's other books, but this one was a slow read for me. A very long book with excerpts about the main character's ancestors, which did not hold my interest. I do enjoy the author's writing style, so I kept reading. I finished it, but it took nearly 2 months to get the job done. Unusual for an avid reader like me. Read more

A Dark Captive Romance (Rose and Thorn Book 2) - Pure White Rose

Review:This second story has some answers we were looking for about Thorn and Rose. The darkness continues between them as their chemistry heats up thats so wrong but so delicious that you can’t put it down. It may seem that they are wrong for each other but as their story unfolds more you can see that they need each other. Can’t wait for the next installment of this trilogy. Rage: Feathers and Fire Book 2
Rage: Feathers and Fire Book 2

Review:Callie is my fav. female character. She is kicking butt and taking names. The people that have made her naughty list better watch out. Callie makes some new legendary friends in this book and really begins to come into her own powers. She is more determined than ever to show ppl and freaks that she can stand on her own. This was another smash hit for the brilliant Shayne Silver's. It has all his trademarks, hilarity, suspenseful, plot twists, action packed, morality message hidden in.... I absol... Read more
