Review:I really like the Elder Books. I enjoy the strong yet flawed characters, the verbal sparring, the funny parts, the touching parts. This one was a bit...boring. I actually read it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. The build up to the Bad Guy Confrontation seemed to go poof rather than bang. Xavier seemed almost too perfect and patient. Review:The book was okay. Considering the depth of Pia Saves the Day and the newness Peanut goes to School this was almost disappointing and definitely not wort the $3.99. The other stories were cheaper but more interesting. Sorry this was worth about $1.99 maybe $2.99 but definitely not $3.99. I was perhaps too eager for Pia & Dragos storyline when clicked purchase. Review:Absolutely my favorite of the books so far. We have a women who yes does let her guard down...to let her “feelings” show more and more. Well after thousands of years it’s about time for her. I love the fact that she is strong and still vulnerable. And let’s just say Rune is just amazing. Review:Okay, I completely liked this book and I was definitely happy to see that the "Later I would find.." statement was drastically reduced in this book. I almost hated reading so much of it in the first one. The story picks up where the last one left off. You still have Mac trying to prove she was up to the challenge of revenge and saving the world, Barrons is still being a jerk, and Vlane - well I don't know what his angle is. Review:I've gone through many series looking for another Mercy Thompson, and this is the first I've found that I really enjoy. Strong female heroine, interesting (if simplistic, but come on--these are serials) mysteries/conflicts, and manages to keep itself from being an out and out romance.

If you're looking for deep literature, this isn't for you--but if you enjoy fun reads, girls with moxie, and gender role switching, you'll love this. Read more
