Review:Don't show this to your mother... or father... or girlfriend... or anyone who doesn't understand the refined delicacy that is Echii. This light novel is full of it and uses it well for whole of the comedy. Throw in a plot system that changes the way the world thinks (or at least 20 people), and you got yourself a great story. Can't wait for vol. 2 Read more
Review:I had trouble putting this book down. It makes you want to read a little more, just a bit more until I go back to (whatever you were or should be doing instead of reading). The storyline took directions I was expecting nor did they seem contrived. Read more

Review:Book Two of The Taker Trilogy(The Reckoning)offered much more excitement and thrilling suspense than I expected. Instead of trying to match book one's horrors, the author seems to have added onto it in a very different yet surprising way.
I would call The Reckoning a very enjoyable read not only for Book One readers, but also for those new to Alma Katsu. This book can stand on its own because it reviews and clarifies much of what took place in book one. But I can't imagine anyone reading ... Read more

He had a precognitive episode predicting they would get married and since he was being monitored by the Goosegg the chart showed the unusual activity in his brain at the exact moment of his episode. Review:A lushly descriptive adventure through the spirit world as Li Lan endeavors to take control of her life before it is taken over by those around her. Be warned, the authors descriptions of food will make you hungry and the story itself will leave you unable to put it down. Read more
Review:Thoroughly enjoyed the series with its twists and turns the characters go through. Love the idea of the Eldran. Was a little disappointed in the final fight scene, but still enjoyed it. It seemed to go by too fast. Read more
Review:First we need to cover the fact that Michelle Moran released "Cleopatra's Daughter" in the not so distant past. Michelle's novel and Cleopatra's daughter Selene was more of a traditional historical fiction novel. I know everyone is thinking that two books on the same person; how the heck is that going to work? In my mind ever since I saw a real mummy in an exhibit in the art museum, I have always felt that ancient Egypt holds a mystical power that is deeply etched in to the culture. I have to ad... With her family, most of the soldiers perished. Mara must gather her few resources and rebuild, while fighting a quiet war with her enemies.
