Review:Weaving in our favorite topics of violence, serial killing, and prostitutes, book three tops off the series. A nonstop action story from beginning to end making it difficult to put the book down. It's not my favorite genre so I find it difficult to rate without bashing the entire genre but the fast-pace action makes it much more enjoyable. Makes it easy on my ADHD.
The authors of this novel had given me a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Read more
Review:The beginning and middle were very good and kept me very engaged, but he screwed up the end it was like he was just trying to get it over with. He didn't give the ending enough magnitude and depth. It could have been very good. Read more
Review:The Haunting of Sunshine Girl is what I would call a fluffy horror book. Aimed at younger readers, it would be the perfect balance of horror and humour.
I love creepy books that will scare me, and while I didn’t find this one to be particularly creepy, there were a few moments that surprised me, with paranormal twists that I didn’t expect. Going into Sunshine Girl, I knew it was going to be about a girl at a haunted house, but the luisearches who banish ghosts made it really unique.
Review:Fugitive of Magic, Dragons Gift :The Protector, Book 1
Linsey Hall
I’ve been following Linsey since Braving Fate, the Mythean Arcana series came out. I love her ability to mix History, Romance, and Fantasy all together is a way that makes sense! Shes done it again with her newest book, Fugitive of Magic, Dragons Gift, The Protector Book 1. I have to say this is the best one yet!
This series begins the story behind Nix, or Phoenix Knight, as she calls herself. One of a trio o... Read more
Review:An excellant retelling of a childhood fairytale in a manner that makes sense for adults. Really people can be as crazy this girl's mother was. But even as vain as she was she did care for the potential spouse of her husband that she would leave a widow. He also seemed to really care for her and that was what made his basically a good person until he commited such an evil act on his own daughter. Evidently they were pretty attentive to the people they ruled but had no idea how to be parents.<... Read more
Review:There is nothing that brings out the mothering instinct like a story with Maya. She is fabulous and tells it like it is. There are many times as a mom I have thought about what would happen if my children went missing....Maya puts it all much better. It was wonderful that she finally got the hedgehog she has always wanted. Maya may be a smart ass but no one messes with her family. Another great romp through Ridgeville. Read more

Review:An excellent read. I enjoy the short story format and Stephen King's writing style. I also enjoy the variety of characters and settings in the various stories of this book...and all of them keep me hooked. I think this book is better than King's later short stories collection called "Nightmares and Dreamscapes". Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this book far more than the rest of the Dragon series....... Which is not to say that I didn't like the rest of the series, but I LOVED this one.
I really enjoyed seeing the softer side of Baltic. The love that Baltic shares for Ysolde is a true love story that has left me wanting many more books about the Light Dragons. Read more
