Homecoming (A Finn McCoy Paranormal Thriller Book 1)
Homecoming (A Finn McCoy Paranormal Thriller Book 1)

Review:Finn McCoy deals with the paranormal. When they begin attacking in a small town he knows well, it is up to him and a special friend to go to work. I can't wait for the next novel in the series. Keep up the good work! Read more

The Hellbound Heart: A Novel
The Hellbound Heart: A Novel

Review:This is a cool little novella, about 150 pages, with big lettering. I finished it in two nights, but could have read it in a day. Its about what you would expect, if you have ever seen 'Hell Raiser'. Its a little different and has more detail than the movie it inspired. If you like Clive Barker or S&M or gory horror, you'll like this. Read more

Craven Manor
Craven Manor

Review:An enjoyable novel with a creepy atmosphere and believable characters. Only critique is the implausibility of the historical timeline - the author is Australian and I get the overall impression that the story is supposed to be set there, yet the family’s and manor house’s history don’t sync with the fact that NSW only saw European immigrants arrive in 1788, and life was very much frontier-like for the next few decades. There was never any explanation as to how a grande British manor house and ... Read more

Thinner
Thinner

Review:I would describe this story as okay, however it does have a bit of dullness to it. For example,

(SPOILER!!)

when the main character goes searching for the Gypsies, the story starts to drag.
After that, it did manage to re-acquire my interest, but not fully.

Not one of King’s best…that’s for sure. Read more

Cujo
Cujo

Review:Like other King shorts Cujo is quick, somber and borderline disturbing. A convoluted mess of a story, this book twists the reader through many emotional journeys that show no signs of relief. Yet, it is impossible to put down with King 's chilling ability to weave researched facts into an overwhelming monster, and a story so convincing I could believe it may have happened in real life. Not what I would call a "must read" by King but for a fan like myself, it was worth the read. Read more

Christine
Christine

Review:Stephen King's novel "Christine" was published in 1983 and later in the year, on the heels of the success of the book, a movie version hit theatres.

The novel deals with a young man who, in 1983, purchases an old run down automobile from 1958 for $250.00. Unknown to the teenager the car is possessed by evil forces and a series of wild mishaps and horrifying events eventually take place.

To many "Christine" is the equivilent to "Jaws on Wheels" and the the main character is indeed... Read more

The Regulators
The Regulators

Review:'Regulators' was good enough for me to get through and marginally enjoy, but I felt no connection to the characters and was frankly happy to put it down when finished. It offers a great deal of gore but not much else. Of the two 'Tak' novels written by Stephen King, 'Desperation' is by far the more engrossing and satisfying read. Read more

Double Take: An FBI Thriller
Double Take: An FBI Thriller

Review:I'm not much for romance novels, but when Coulter write her FBI series, I find I have to read each one. I'm not finished with this book, but I am finding I can't put it down! I want to know, "Who did it!" Coulter has managed to intertwine 2 story plots very effectively, and her story lines are very easy to follow. I don't have to stop to try to remember who the characters are and what has happened in their particular plot. Her twists and turns keep me interested and surprised. This is a great re... Read more

His To Claim
His To Claim

Review:Sample sounded great. Disappointed in the story. Needed more editing I found my self reading a couple of passages twice because they were in 2 different paragraphs. Also it went from she hating him to ok they are going to give being mates a try, very cliche. Also main female character was whiney and couldnt make up her mind and had no real depth, I found myself lossing patients with her and the story. After several days I was finally able to finish the book. Read more
