Review:Absolutely love this story about a lonely throw away who finds a home. Of course there are several issues one can take with that concept and the main character's immediate acceptance of her circumstances but I choose to see it as a story of hope and a journey of discovery of one's self. Both main characters will learn and grow and both have a desire to do so. The world and mythology are also quite intriguing and the art detailing is just phenomenal. Read more

Review:The final volume was simply amazing. After reading every single manga I expected nothing but greatness and thats exactly what I got. I was sad to read the end of my favorite manga but I do plan on reading the future projects. I highly reccommend this. Read more
Review:Really, this young woman has many difficulties to overcome: depression, eating disorders, cutting - each one by itself can be life-threatening. Review:Contains storyboards, thumbnails, silhouettes, armor/character designs, color keys... it's a thoroughly complete art book. Highly recommend. It has exceptional process and pre-production work. If you know how thick Mass Effect's concept art book (which includes all 3 Mass Effect games), this book is thicker. About twice the size as the Diablo 3 art book. Read more

It opens with Destiny and a beautiful description of his realm. He soon after calls a 'family meeting', the first one they'd had in quite some time. This triggers a chain of events (one event in particular) that, more or less, make up the whole novel.
This novel challenges common belief about heaven, hell, death, souls and everything in b... Read more
Review:This book should become required middle or a least high school reading .... especially with the recent embraceement of bigotry, racism, sexism, xenophobia in America that's been rearing its ugly head with the 2016 elections. Read more

Review:After watching the special features on Kick-Ass, I knew I wanted to read the comic, that went from comic to screen play so fast, as in before the comic was complete (3/8 of the way). As dark as the movie is... the comic is darker.
I am a fan of both the movie and the book, They were different. And it was interesting to see what they changed from the comic. (red mist is just one example) Read more
